You can not go into something that is bigger
they need a sterile sample some people will say if you boil what ever for three min's you will be ok.
But the water out of the taps are not pure and will mess up the tests and if you dry it then it is no longer sterile.

when you collect a sample you need to wash down there
with a clean wash cloth and soap
making sure to rinse well to get off all the soap and dry with a clean towel. There are germs on the out side of the body and if they get into the sample they can mess up the test.

your Dr or clinic should of gave you a collection kit

they come with a soap packet and towels that are sterile

and they have a great one just for girls and it has a type of funnel that screws on to the bottle so it will not go every where if you can put the test off for one more day ask them for this kit. Every thing in the kit is sterile so you should not keep any thing for use later.

if not wash well and just hold your self appart

Take the sample while sitting on the toilet and even if it does go every where it does not matter they only need 15 CC to 30 CC which is 1 to 2 table spoons

They most likely want a mid-stream sample
so when you collect the sample
pee a little into the toilet first and then take the sample and then empty your bladder into the toilet

The mid-stream will give the best results
other wises you might have to do this again.

Hope this helps

You have to urinate into a sterile container, and it must be the bottle that the doctor gives you. Now if you have a problem urinating into something that size then you have a problem with your penis that should be addressed by the doctor. I know it is embarrassing, but the doctor can't help you if he doesn't know what is going on and what your problems are.

The correct way to collect a urine sample is to start your stream of urine into the toilet then hold it closed for a second and transfer your penis to the bottle and continue to urinate. Then hold it closed just before you reach the top and continue to urinate into the toilet.

Just put your penis right into the bottle and fill it up. If you can you only have to fill it up halfway. They don’t need a gallon of the urine to analyze. A urine analyses is an important part of a medical exam because there are so many things that can show up in the urine that indicate if your body is having problems. You don’t want to add to this by mixing in some possible germs from a non-sterile container and then mixing that with your urine sample.

About 99.9% of men don't have trouble doing this and do it every day. However, it is possible that there could be a fault inside the "plumbing" so to speak. If you normally urinate and it goes everywhere then that is not natural and it should be taken care of.

This is hugely embarrassing for men and I understand why you are worried. But, the doctor will not laugh at you; he is there to help you. If you honestly can't do it then you need to tell him. If it is too embarrassing to do this when your parents are in the room then you need to tell them that. "Mom, or Dad, I can't discuss this in front of you could you please step out of the office for a minute." If they press you tell them "It is embarrassing and I really don't want to talk about it until I know what the doctor thinks, so please it will only have to be for a few minutes."

Going to the doctor is hard to do, and believe it or not there are grown men that are afraid of doing it. It is not just the needles it is the embarrassment of a medical exam. Believe me you are not alone in your fear.

I don't think that's a good idea maybe he needs to do some tests with you're urine and being that you're going to expose the urine to air and change the temperature of it might harm the results...don't you think?
You just need to put it on the right spot or tell your nurse about it she may even be able to help and give you another one.

pee and as you are going, put the cup under and then quickly move it when you have enough. you can also urinate in the toilet then stop (hold it) put the cup under, continue to urinate in the cup, hold it, move the cup, then continue to go in the toilet.
