No, in fact that is lighter than the normal weight of a 12 year old that is 5'4. If you go to wiki answers and type in average weight for a 5'4 12 year old girl, it says the average weight is 120 pounds, so 116 is a very good weight.

nope, you're under weight! I'm 115 pounds, 5'4", and people say all the time I'm under weight. I don't think an extra pound will make a difference.

Not if you are athletic you are lighter than the charts for your height but if you are healthy and fit a heavier weight might still not be too much.

no, that sounds ideal. if you feel fat, however, it might make you feel better to exercise. then you can tell yourself "i'm 116 lbs and lots of that weight is muscle"
