You can go swimming when you are not on your period, but you can't really while you're on it since you don't use tampons.

Just to clarify.
Not on period-yes swim.
On period no tampons- bad idea.

DON'T WEAR A PAD IN THE POOL! its of absolutely no use. And yes you can easily swim during your periods. I've been swimming since I was in grade 3 and my periods started when I was in grade 5 [I'm in grade 9 now] and I swim during all my periods. [You can't miss meets because of your periods can you?] Infact my stomach cramps ease up when I'm in the water and I feel really good. if you are worried about staining your costume, well it will be stained a bit but the flow stops sometime after you enter because the water is cold. My advice is you should definately swim during periods. it makes

Yes, you can swim any time you don't have your period. But why can't you use tampons? If you use them, then it doesn't matter if you are on your period or not.

If you don't have your period at all, then, yeah, you can go swimming. Just be sure to keep track of the time and days.

Of course! You are not menstruating so of course you can swim!

However if you are on your period you do need to wear a tampon in the water.

Swimming is 100% fine before you period, after your period and while you have your period, seriously, you don't bleed when you are swimming.
