I recently found out that i had to have my wisdom teeth taken out. OUCH!!!! I had a bad infection when i was 6/2 and have been affraid of needles ever since. So two things: One how can i handle this? and two I've heard it's like having your tonsils out and you can have no food or drink for a while what can i do to counter this and the pain?

it all started a day after my period ended. I started getting lower abdominal cramps, (not like menstrual pain) twinge like pains in my sides (not all at once) bloating, nauseous, headache,backach, stiff neck, sneezing like crazy (don't have a sinus problem and not sickor about to get sick) sore breasts and nipples and visible veins in my breasts, pains near my naval, bubbling noises in tummy and bowel movement more then twice a day sometimes more then 3 time a day. Not pregnant (tested last night and this morning) and not trying to concieve. what could be the problem? please help.

I had filled my Allegra prescription at a Walgreens in my college's hometown, and when I picked it up, the pill looked different than normal. I called my mom and described it and she said it should be ok. I took the pill for a few days, but it wasn't easing my allergies at all. Yesterday, I refilled my prescription at a CVS in my hometown, and it looked the same as it always did. Is there a phone number I can call to see if it was in fact Allegra, or should I just call my allergist?

When did you find out? Also, how do you know? Did you have warts or an abnormal pap? Did you have that new test done? Are you a guy who's had sex with a girl who had it? What?

Also, what were you told by your doctor?

I'm just curious because I've had it for a while now and I had to do all my own research because my doctor totally left me in the dark about this. I'm just curious to see if anything has improved in the last 10 years concerning how the medical profession handles this.

my mom gets this horrible tingling in her hand. and her hand is always cold. she tells me that her hand tingles 24/7 like it would if it was asleep. and she gets very bad pain in her back particuarly in between her shoulder blades. should she go to the docter? could a docter do anything?

i just thought it was a pinched nerve but her hand has been like this for a month and shje says not once did it stop and her hand is always cold. i massage her back and inbetween her shoulder blades but she says that only helps for a little bit making her hand become a little warm but the tingling just never stops. what should i do?

I used to ride a bicycle to school in at the elementary level. I currently ride to work about 4 days per week, and I realized that it's good for the environment, help me in my fight with obesity, and helps me stick it to the Exxon Mobile to the tune of $30 per month.
I'm interested in creating a grass roots movement to encourage Americans to bike to work. I'm looking for ideas on how to convince people to bike or walk to work, so what would convince you?

I am 34wks pregnant and been extreamly stressed out and upset the last few days.
I have this huge lump like feeling in my throat it wont go away and feels like I need to really burp all the time or vommit. Does any one know what it could be? Is there any way to get rid of it? PLZ help so Yucky feeling.

Oh and also I have been VERY short of breath.

OK ladies... does anyone out there have Endometrosis?? What were your symptoms? How did you descover you had it??? Where exactly in your body did you feel the pain??? I have Cervical Dysplasia but i was told that there are NO symptoms with that??? What is wrong with me then??? I am having plenty of symptoms..... Ex, Cramping before and during my period (i didnt really have cramps before) pelvic pain, constipation, pain during and after intercourse.... I think that I look best between 125-130lbs, after which I become "chubby". I am presently between 133-138 as I fluctuate like mad. My doctor advised between 125-135lbs. What is the optimal bmi for a woman????

I usually have a low fat sandwich for breakfast which includes one slice of whole wheat bread, avocado used as a spread to replace butter, 2 slices of pastromi or sometimes turkey cold cuts, some lettuce and other greens. Then for lunch I have a similar sandwich with one slice of bread, and I will just alternate the cold cuts and greens. In the evening I will usually have something more hardy like grains with steamed chicken and also 2 or 3 fruits throughout the day. I know that carbs are diet's #1 worst enemy, but I also know that wholegrain carbs are better, though I don't know if having 2 slices of bread in my diet jeaopardizing it. I would really appreciate some advice, thanks!

My discharge changes colour during my cycles-is this normal?
At one point it gets thick and it gets thin, sometimes barely there.
Its always white/clearish.
Ive been with the same guy for going 4 years so I havent slept with anyone else and we use protection(the only time lately he only put a condom on before he finished-but since then its been itchy down there for approx 3 days(going away now) not sure if thats to do with friction? or skin irritation?coz its gone now.
Please help, I keep thinking about it-not sure if its normal.
Im kinda nervous to go for a pap-smear, but know I should.

Since we're all here b/c we are concerned about weight/diet/fitness - what did we all have for breakfast today.

Me? 6'1" 190 lbs - had a homemade breakfast shake w/ 1 cup of milk, 1/3 cup of oatmeal, 2 tbspns of flaxseeds, on Georgia peach and one banana. I ate an apple separately, took a mulitivitamin and I'm drinking a small green tea.

What's everyone else having?
