Since we're all here b/c we are concerned about weight/diet/fitness - what did we all have for breakfast today.

Me? 6'1" 190 lbs - had a homemade breakfast shake w/ 1 cup of milk, 1/3 cup of oatmeal, 2 tbspns of flaxseeds, on Georgia peach and one banana. I ate an apple separately, took a mulitivitamin and I'm drinking a small green tea.

What's everyone else having?

.... for those thinking I'm knocking anyone - I'm not. I'm concerned about my weight too. I lost 50 pounds and I totally know how to gain it back too.

What I've found though is that the quickest way to lose weight is simply to be conscious of what one is putting into his or her body. The quickest way to gain it is to block it out.

I had pancakes made with wheat bran, whole wheat unbleached wheat flour, corn meal, half a yam, 2 tsp cocoa, and an egg fried in one tsp. coconut oil and topped with unsweetened coconut shreds. Then I had a peanut butter smoothie later with two yams, one cup of milk, a 1/4 cup of smart balance peanut butter with flax oil, and a bit of ice. I also had a cup of tea with no sweetener. For supplements I had a mulitivit, calcium, zinc, and fish oils. The mornings are when I eat most of my carbs and fats if you haven't noticed. I eat pretty lightly the rest of the day and barely EVER have sweets other than yams. I'm adding on healthy weight right now, so that's also why I eat so much.;) Not too mention my weight maintenance level is 2800 cal. I am 5'3 and 110 pounds at 14 years old. I'm also female if you couldn't tell.;) I do weight lifting, squats and walking and don't do much sitting around at all. Literally I'm standing other than when I sleep and for 30 other minutes of the day.
