Last year I was diagnosed with GAD and went on lexapro. The lexapro did help to alleviate my symptoms but I hated take a drug everday to feel normal. I weaned myself off the medicine in October and have been fine ever since. I recently got sick with a sinus infection and had to go to the doctor and for some reason now I feel some of my symptoms may have returned. Mainly nauseau and being jittery. I took a xanax and the doctor said I could go back on lexapro but I really don't like being on the meds. I feel horrible though. No appetite at all.

My neurologist originally said "primary progressive" and prescribed Copaxone. My insurance company denied the claim. In turn my doctor then asked me a few more questions, diagnosed secondary progressive then prescribed Betaseron injections. Insurance Oked this claim so that is what I have been doing for 2 1/2 years now. What else should I be doing? My doctor is not much help and I have to do all the research myself.

Usually when I get an antibotic (which isn't very often) it is for 10 days. Everyone else I know gets it for 10 days. I'm not sure about this doctor anyways. He put dirty things back in his drawer. I'm suppost to go back in 10 days for him to relook at my boil but I'm going to switch doctors. Should I be conserned that he only gave me 10 days of this med?

What kind of pump do you use? Do you love it or hate it?

I use a Minimed 508. It's the same one I got when I went on the pump 6 years ago. It works great and I see no reason to change. Besides, I'm used to this one and I know it inside out. I was on it for 2 years and then off it for 4. I'm now back on it. Aside from a few scratches on the front, it's in great shape.

Opinions?

Please tell me who you think is right or wrong? For the past two years, her husband has been mad and didn't want sex because she wanted to go to get her masters degree. He never told her how angry he was. He pretended everything was fine. They went on vacation, visited us, and everything seemed normal. The wife never compained about it because they were also trying to sell their house and they were both stressed out. It was a big house and they had trouble selling it because the prices of houses declined and they were going to lose money. When they finally sold the house, the lady who bought it wanted $10,000.00 more at the last minute. On top of all that stress their family cat that they loved so much died. The stress was overwelming and after they sold the house, the husband says he is through and don't want to be married anymore. He said he wanted a divorce because she didn't care about sex, but he never asked her for it because of all the stress. Is he wrong or is she?

People say that a glass of red wine a day or a week is good for one's health. This is mainly because it helps with blood circulation. Sex also helps with blood circulation. Hypothetically speaking then... should not sex on a daily/weekly basis be just as beneficial? What do you think?

Hi all you well informed people. My new fella has a pectin allergy, which i take to mean he can't eat citrus fruits.... but someone has also set the seed now that it can have a link to peanut allergy as well.

Does anyone know about this type of allergy? I don't want to bore him by asking him again.... I don't think he's 100% sure of all the ins and outs! Thanks.

It's summertime. I'm asking everyone on here to consider something.

The American Red Cross is experiencing an extreme shortage of blood. This is something that affects us all. I'm asking everyone here to please, if you are eligible, to consider donating blood. Contact your local branch of the American Red Cross or call 1-800-GIVELIFE.

Donations drop during the summer months. There is a desperate need across the country for all types of blood but especially O negative, as this type is the universal donor. There is an equal need for platelets and plasma.

Thank you in advance...you will be doing a great service.

I am seriously concerned about the responses I received from this forum. I was looking for help on how to handle this crisis for my husband and instead I got that I am killing my husband or that my children will be taken from me. I have done everything humanly possible to help him, my family has tried to force him to go to the ER, I have called his doctors and begged for help, if I try to help him he gets more angry, I don't understand why I'm the cause of this from the way the responses sound, HE has decided it's not worth it to him to take the meds, he thinks he's invinceable, last night he went and bought himself 2 honeybuns smothered in chocolate and drank 3rootbeers in less than 10 min. w/ his sugar levels over 600, I asked him why with the shape he is in and he says because he's an adult & can..so am I a killer because I can't get him to go to the ER or take care of himself. I was looking for support, I needed help, but instead I got crucified.
