Usually when I get an antibotic (which isn't very often) it is for 10 days. Everyone else I know gets it for 10 days. I'm not sure about this doctor anyways. He put dirty things back in his drawer. I'm suppost to go back in 10 days for him to relook at my boil but I'm going to switch doctors. Should I be conserned that he only gave me 10 days of this med?

Seems like you have a staff infection. (Staphylococcus aureus infection) The antibiotic given depends on the severity of your infection. Besides, too much antibiotic could kill the friendly bacteria in your intestines and cause digestion problems..

What condition do you have? And also, no it was not wrong of him to do that...many infections only need 7 day treatment, that depends on the severity of the disease and what microorganism is involved. Sometimes it can be for 7, 10, 14 or 21 days....
