I went to the dr with back pain in my waist area and the found a surgical clip floating in my abdomen from my gallbladder surgrey 4 yrs ago. ( in 2 consectutive x-rays it was in different places) He said it's no big deal and can't find my back pain source and thinks it's in my head. The last time i was at the dr was 3 1/2 yrs ago complaining of the same thing but it has now gotten so bad I wake up at night. If the clip was supposed to be holding something closed and let lose could that cause trouble? Could leaving the clip in cause trouble?
Additional info - All my labs were good except low b-12 on suplliments now
ct scan (done without contrast) showed mild degenerative changes he said not enough to cause the type of pain i have.

my daughter is 9 yrs old and she has psorasis of the scalp(I believe) it's patches of what looks to be like "frosted flakes cereal"(that's the only way i can describe it) and it's like it is glued to the scalp but it is not. She has it in a few places on her head and it looks like it "follows a trail"..I have been to the doctor when she was a toddler on this and i have treated it with the medication that have given me to put on the scalp..I have used selsun blue shampoo and neutogena t-gel shampoo but nothing worked that well. I had went back to the doctors several times on this up until she was 6 yrs old and then i said frig this, nothing is working. I want her to get rid of this but how? I do not want to keep wasting my time at the doctors. she used to itch her scalp like crazy but now she hardly does it, I guess she has gotten use to it

Hi there I have never had regular periods but for the last 9 months I have been bleeding non stop, heavy like a normal period it has not stopped once. I have let my self get so worried about what it could be I have not gone to see the doc which I know I should and I am going to, I am just so scared, what could it be, any ideas - this is a SERIOUS question please do not make fun. hi,i just feel something.when i take breath my tummy obviously goes up and down as all of us does.but inspite of that around my naval area i feel tummy continuesly moving up n down very frequently like pulse but all around my naval.any idea what is that.anyone else has anything like this.

I had a mole (dysplastic nevi) removed and the results came back with atypical cells on the top layer. While I wait to meet w/ the doctor - does anyone know if atypical means precancerous? Or are they just not typical/normal?

Hi, I took two depo shots last year and stopped after sept. 06 because I ended up gaining 50lbs within 6 months. It's been 8 months since my last injection and even though I'm not still gaining I'm not losing anything either. I eat like 1,000-1,200 calories a day, exercize (treadmill, trampoline, some pilates) and I feel like I haven't lost a single pound! I also don't get my period very often which worries me. I'm not sure what I should do at this point...has anyone else experienced these problems and have any advice? Thanks

I have intermittent but sharp upper abdominal pains. The pain is right between my navel and sternum. Not to the right or left but right in the middle. It comes on quick and feels like a sharp intense stabbing. I was feeling nauseaus earlier and the pain was more of a dull ache in the same area. Now I have the intense pain like every 3-5 minutes. Please help me out if you can.
