I have intermittent but sharp upper abdominal pains. The pain is right between my navel and sternum. Not to the right or left but right in the middle. It comes on quick and feels like a sharp intense stabbing. I was feeling nauseaus earlier and the pain was more of a dull ache in the same area. Now I have the intense pain like every 3-5 minutes. Please help me out if you can.

Also, I was wondering if I should go to the ER or not. The pain isn't as frequent now. Do you think it will stop?

this sounds like a stomach problem. It's possible it's ulcers from everything you have stated. You need to see a medical doctor as soon as possible. Don't wait call your doctor now.

During my first being pregnant I had the pointy pains you're qustioning and used to be advised that they're probably simply your muscle mass and uterus stretching and getting equipped for child... If they get particularly painful are on one facet or are observed through any recognizing, i might name document and move to ER. This would be a signal of ectopic being pregnant.. I am pregnant (feasible ectopic) and the ones are the indicators the document advised me to appear out for. The BW is most often events hCG to be definite the pg is possible. It sounds particularly like the primary to me. Good success!!

Your appendix is about to rupture, flooding your internal organs with a vile cocktail of bacteria and waste products.

I recommend getting to the hospital STAT unless you want to experience an agonizingly painful death.

Or you could cross your fingers, hope for the best and be OUT of the gene pool by morning.

Your call.

Best thing to do is go to the ER in a situation like this. It could be a number of things of which no over the counter treatment can help with.
