hi every one!
what do i do, feel my depression is creeping back on me ( i know wut caused it but i'm WAY too embarrased to say, even on here) what should i do! i got exams coming up and i'm just thinking i don't care anymore. should i just keep hanging out wit my mates cos that helps ?

Depression is a very serious condition and very difficult to handle on your own. I would suggest seeing your doctor because there are a lot of medicines out there to help you out. I, myself, have found out that I am chronically depressed. I have tried to do without any medication, and no matter how great my life is, apparently my chemicals are out of whack, and I just get really down without medicinal help. I'm a really happy person on my meds! Don't have to go it alone anymore!

also exercise really helps - Get on the treadmill or do some aerobic walking. My doctor told me that exercise works as well as a prescription anti-depressant

It's true exercise is very helpful. So is light. Expose yourself to as much bright light as you can.
