Well there is no law or rule that says that...
A person with oral herpes (cold sores) can still kiss other people, but they are taking a risk of passing the virus on to other people.
Cold sores are EXTREMELY common. It's estimated about 75 - 80% of the WORLD has cold sores.
Cold sores can also cause genital herpes if a person with cold sores gives another person oral sex.
And, it can cause ocular herpes (herpes of the eye) if a person touches a cold sore and then rubs their eye.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about 5 years ago, when I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know loads of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/OkQEq everything changed.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

which simplex did you mean? I think there is more than one...
but if you are referring to cold sores, then no, you shouldnt kiss, or even drink/eat after anyone else either. Herpes is very contagious and you can even spread it without having a cold sore. You really should be careful though because once you get herpes you can't get rid of it...

(10) current or historical past of genital illness or ulceration, including but now not confined to herpes genitalis (054.Eleven) or condyloma acuminatum (078.Eleven), if of ample severity to require commonplace intervention or to interfere with normal function, is disqualifying. From AR 40-501 para 2-14. It's an army reg, however they're on the whole rather equivalent throughout the board. So... It's looks like a slight case of crotch rot could still be allowed to enlist. I used to be surprised. Excellent luck.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

If your blisters are in fact of the Herpes virus and the break out is located in your mouth or on your mouth....I think logic would tell you from refraining!
You are the most contagious when the blisters are present.
