in local newspaper I read where British doctors did brains scans on volunteers given small doses of two of the active ingredients of cannabis and says its triggers psychotic symptoms, (newspaper didn't say anything about scans after they smoked the marijuana) doses of CBD and THC and smoking the weed are not the same. But the doctors says marijuana causes psychotic symptoms, where are the studies that compart marijuana effects with what smoking tobacco, and what alcohol does to u. What psychotic symptoms is tobacco and alcohol have?

Will my permanent porcelain dental bridge look more like teeth? I just had a temporary bridge put in and it doesn't look realistic to me and I am self conscious. If anyone has had bridgework and could shed some light on the subject I would like to know.

my mom has a crack in her root canal, and has an infection that won't go away, it is in one of her molars. it has to be puled and she'll get a replacement one(fake tooth) that will be permanent, but might damage her mouth in the long run, and the infection won't go away if the tooth isn't pulled. the operation costs around $800-$1200 and we are fixing up a house that we will move into in mid june, is thereany other way to get rid of the infection? Please help!

My daughter has been throwing up and complaining of belly ache today with headache and chills. Slight fever of 99.8. Her doctor said her blood count is 21000, very very high. What kinds of infections could cause it to be so high? She has to go back tomorrow to see if it has went down any.

Im 14 and I weigh 150-153 lbs and I wear a size 11 in jrs. I can grab some towards my lower abs and I never loose any weight ! I play fast pitch softball and I hardly eat that much! I even exercise like lifting 10 lb weights and other exercises also. What do u think?

Ok, I was once in love with a guy who had cancer. I stayed with him all the way through it. As he was almost completely in remission, I started having hallucinations and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Because of this, he left me. What is the difference? I'm not a violent person. I dont want to hurt anyone. I dont understand. It was once said "Schizophrenia is to psychiatry as Cancer is to medicine". Why do people with mental illnesses get treated differently? We didnt do anything to deserve our illness! We didnt choose it. We're sick. We're not demon possessed. We need love and support and understanding. I know that no one can truly know what its like unless they also have a mental illness. But I do expect people to treat me as though I am still a person with feelings, emotions, and opinions. I am posting this for everyone who is mentally ill and is treated the same way as I am.

First she's been to her doctor, and they are running test. This is whats going on today her blood pressure was 158/107 which its been higher, and her pulse was 132. She's in alot of pain now, which is not normal for her. Its in her lower back and she went to the hospital, they gave her darvaset and she's gone through almost the whole prescription already because of the pain. They just found out that her thyroid levels are at 100 something when they should be at 40 and so they are going to start her on synthroid. She's on cardizam, and that was just recently raised, and they've also put her on another pill for blood pressure, but that was a week ago and its not coming down. You can see it in her face, how bad she's feeling. I'm worried alot about her, if they're are any doctors that might have an idea of what she might be going through, please let me know, so she can get control over her BP and pulse.
Other information, she does have diabetes, but its only reaching a high of maybe 158

I always say that im gonna go on a diet but it just never works out for me. The longest i have lasted on a diet is a week and usually only a few days or not even that. Everytime i turn around im craving junk, sweets, and all that fattning stuff......and then i just give in and eat it. How do i stick to my diet. I need like motivation but how? Please help me out.

I cannot tilt my head upside down without head pressure. Sometimes when I stand up, I have head pressure. When it's really bad, I see colors for a few seconds and if it's really really bad, my vision goes black. I have not fainted from this, but I have come close.
My ears also feel funny (more pressure) when I have this. I also have some stuffy sinus issues that go along with it.
I have motion sickness (in cars). But have never actually gotten sick from it. I can't go on swings because of the motion either.
I don't think I have vertigo but I think it's something similar to it. My mom also has some of the same issues. I plan to go to a specialest this summer. Does anyone know what this could be?

Hi, I'm a girl, I'm twelve, I'm 5 1' and I weigh 105...

Is there actually a recipe to help weight loss? Because I get tired of eating the same thing everyday, my school is nut free and I'm too young to workout at any gyms, It's hard for me to lose weight. My mom and my friend are dieting with me to keep me motivated. I have karate on Monday and Thursday, I have Piano on Wednesday, I have singing lessons on Friday and on Saturday and Sunday I have to practice this East Indian dance thing to present at this multi-culteral event. So basically, I'm busy, fat and I want to lose 25 to 30 pounds. PLEASE HELP!!!
