Go someplace like LA Weight Loss Center. They are great at keeping you motivated and showing you how to eat the correct things. If you do not like this route try this, Eat five small meals a day. This is tough at first but it does get easier. High fiber foods keep you full longer and once you stop eating sweets the cravings will start to deminish.

many good points made on the responses, i would guess that your diet is too restricting, leading to your cravings, the best way to diet is to simply eliminate most of the junk you eat, this is called cleaning up your diet, just do this for a week, then in week 2, start replacing your poor food choices with healthier ones.. the idea is to make gradual changes instead of crash dieting on day 1. you should find this approach easier to follow. take your time dieting, it may take you 16 weeks to reach your goal instead of 12, but if you stick to it, then you are farther ahead.. set daily and weekly goals for yourself to stay motivated.. allow yourself some of the sweets and junk you really enjoy on Sundays, just dont over indulge. good luck

Alright... ready for this!? lol...

I do boxer conditioning with a great friend of mine. I love boxing, and my friend is hilarious, and ya.

One thing that really helps me is having a friend who is really healthy - she motivates me and since we spend lots of time together I'm healthier now because of it. For example, when she grabs a grilled chicken whole wheat pita, I do too!

Another thing, my man has been at a different university than me this year and I'll be seeing him again in a few days. So... while he's been gone I decided to join boxing, eat healthier more often in smaller portions, ect. because I wanna suprise him when he gets back!

And it's paid off! Three weeks ago I wore a belt that I hadn't wore for months --- I had to CREATE a new hole to wear it! And now (it's been 4 months roughly since I began my health craze) ALL my clothes are falling off me. I needed to go shopping BADLY because as of late I looked rediculous --- and I just found out this past weekend that I've gone down from a size 7-9 to a size 5.

I feel better when I work out, and the healthier foods I eat the more I crave them instead of other things. Whenever I crave sugary sweets, I turn to really sweet fruit like grapes and oranges (after all, most candies ARE fruit flavoured). When I crave something sweet and salty, I go for a small bowl of cereal. Slowly but surely, by eating healthier, you won't crave junk anymore.

Also, don't limit yourself! Weed out the junk, don't try to stop automatically because that will result in binging. Don't expect to not eat junk ever again, just be more cautious when you do and eventually it will weed itself out. Here's an example - I still live at home, so during the day I eat lots of fruits and veggies and whole wheats because I know that at supper time I'm not the cook and I'll have small portions of whatever the family is eating! I also treat myself once a week to whatever I've been craving and I've come to find that as of late, I haven't been craving junk that much at all.

I also find that listening to Headstrong by Trapt and Paralyzer by Finger Eleven when working out works wonders too... :D

Good luck!

dont diet. just cut back you can still eat sweets every now and then, my rule; if I want something sweet I will drink a glass of ice water, wait 15 min. than if I want it, I will eat it. not the whole bag, make it a one serving. Some motivation? Go and buy that bathing suit or great outfit that you would rock, one or two sizes too small; hang it wear you can see it, YOU CAN DO IT!

You have to just make up your mind and follow through. Even if you slip, just brush yourself off and get back on track. Just because you slip up every now and then doesn't mean you should give up!
