My Grandma says I have big bones? My Mom says water weight. My Dad says muscle mass. I've been dieting & exercising and notice major changes : my hip measurement went up an inch and I lost 2 inches in my waist, my thighs are firmer and my calves are tighter, my stomache is flattening and I can see the begining of a six pack. I'm not on a fad diet I eat five small meals containing protien, carbs, fruits, veggies and dairy. I walk five times a week for 45min to an hr & 1/2. I weight train once a week & do cardio twice a week. What am I doing wrong? Why am I shaping up but not actually losing weight? According to the height/ weight chart I am overweight.
so my questions are 1. is it water weight? big bones? muscle mass?
2. do I actually need to lose weight to meet the height/ weight chart? (115- 130lbs)
3. keep doing what I'm doing?
I'm happy with my body I just want to tighten up but I started in Jan at 160 & I'm still at 160lbs just wondering why.
