I know there are a lot of people who know how to lose 20 pounds in a month, but I really need you to be specific when telling me how you did it. What did you eat? How often did you work out? I know it's not healthy, but I need a jump start.

I did a cleanse.
Specifics on Nutrition:
two nutritious shakes a day as a meal replacement (breakfast and dinner) Lunch is a healthy 600 calorie meal - staying organic when possible. Also would have several snacks a day. The snacks are provided by the program.
Specifics on Exercise:
I work out at least 20 minutes each day - sometimes just walking my dogs other days going for a swim, taking a class at the local Y etc.. I like variety.

I eliminated 20 pounds in a month and feel GREAT!!!!! And yes I am healthier now than EVER before.

It's not healthy to lose more than 2 pounds each week. Anything more than that is probably just water weight that you'll gain back.

I found Weight Watchers a brilliant tool to teach you exactly what to eat and how much.
There didn't have to be much guessing and you get support.
Whichever way you tackle your weight loss, you will lose more weight by continuing to eat throughout the day than if you starve your body.

go to sparkpeople.com it will be your best friend and more addicting than yahoo answers.

cut soda out of your diet (even diet soda) and replace it with water (i lost 5lbs in 4 days just doing that).

i dont know what you weigh now, or how old you are, but i was trying to go from 143lbs to 120lbs by the end of may (i started in january) and with no exersize and just watching my calories (and not very well, but more than before) i am currently 128lbs. i am supposed to eat between 1200-1550 calories a day (my actual average is about 1800 tho)

but yeah, totally look at spark. it will help and its fun

Do the low carb thing-no flour, potatoes, sugar, rice, pasta or milk. Eat fish, meat, cheese and eggs and a little fruit and salad. Works well, see Atlins diet.
