Call his doctor or pharmacist and ask, just to be on the safe side. I wouldn't rely on any information from anyone except a medical professional.

There is no contraindication between loperamide hydrochloride and warfarin. The drug does, however, contain sucrose. Imodium.(Loperamide HCl) is used by many people for the control of diarrhoea. It is not a dangerous drug, as stated in one answer. For future reference, you will normally find a list of active substances, also contraindications listed on the data sheet enclosed with the medication. It also usually states the adverse reactions that might occur. You would be advised to obtain details from your pharmacist if you are in doubt.
Hope this helps

loperamide is a dangerous drug. Diabetics shouldn't take it. Do a drug interaction check online and be careful about it - look into natural cures for diaherria, don't just run to the Rx.

I don't understand why people come here and ask these kinds of questions that should only be asked of a professional?
Please contact you doctor or pharmacist. They know drugs and there interactions with each other. If he was prescribed this medication, he should have told the doctor what other meds he was taking and the decision would have been made then.

I wouldn't trust somebody's answer on here, I mean this could mean serious health issues for your husband if he is wrongly told he can take them. Go to a site like www.drugs.com, or call your doctor (highly recommended).
