I dont like wearing big bulky pads any more and i want to switch to tampons but everytime i try i does cant get it into my vagina, also i would like to douche after my period but i heard douching can cause infections is there something else i can use just to feel extra fresh after a period.

I have been diagnosed with low Vitamin D levels in my blood and my doctor is placing me on supplements. Could this be why I am suffering excruciating knee joint pain? It feels like I have a bad case of arthritis. Mind you I am only 25 years old.

I was awakened this morning by a SHARP pain right in the middle of my chest. At the end of each breath it would stab into my sternum. No other pain, no breathing problems, no problems when i went to sleep. I went to the dr. this morning, they say...maybe its digestion problem and give me meds for heartburn. I dont think thats what it is. I dont have heartburn or any burning sensation, its a sharp pain. I took 2 asprin and the pain get duller but didnt go away. Now its 10pm and It still hurts. Any ideas?? Im only 34, no High BP, no major health problems. I am overweight. I think maybe I slept wrong??? Please help!

i use tea ttree oil to treat a pimple but i left it on (w/ a guaze & band-aid) for about 5 or 6 hrs when i toook the band-aid off i was shocked to find darkened skin beneath. the tea tree oil has left behaing a scabish burnish lokking thing & i want to heal it ASAP. Any suggestions ideas?? HELP!!!!

I am not overweight, but I have always wanted a flat stomach, and I have been working at it and so far I have abs on the top part of my stomach, but I can't seem to get rid of the pooch I have right under my belly button, and I have tried everything to get rid of it, but nothing has been helping. (I've been excercising/dieting since February) I was wondering if any of you had any advice; like how to eat better, what excercises will help, ect. Anything will be appreciated.

hi. i'll start with the basics. i'm 19, began to be sexually active just 2 months ago.
for a few weeks now, i have noticed a bump that it grew about 1-2 cm since i last saw it. it does not hurt or anything. im gonna see my doctor next tuesday, but just wanted some information on what it might be to be just widely informed.
i researched, and it might just be small fat accumulating to Hidradenoma papilliferum.
on my moms part, the women have suffered of vaginal hemorrhages, on my dad's part of ovarian cancer.
i have also been quite dizzy at times, just very dizzy. and at times get small pains around my ovaries. i know im not pregnant for i just had my period and have not had sex since just to be safe until i see my doctor.

My friend's mom has had 5 seizure's/strokes or something of the like in the past two years. With the most recent one she passed out, and her leg was completly numb. My friend pounded on her leg very hard and she could not feel it. They ran a catscan, and an open mri, and a few other tests and could not find anything wrong, so they assume it's psychological. Can a psychological seizure make you pass out and be unresponsive and make you leg go numb because that doesn't make sense to me. She is on medicaid and I think maybe she's not getting all the tests she needs. If it is psychological, what are the most effective ways of treating that, because she and my friend have had enough of hospitals. Any help would be much appreciated. Also she will be recieving medicare soon, so hopefully that will open a few more doors.

I am a caregiver who recently lost a client who was on hospice, dying of cancer. She was young. Only 43 and had 2 children. She didnt want to let her kids watch her detiriate and suffer. She shot herself when I was alone in the house with her. I had no idea she was even contemplating suicide. How do you go on and continue being a good caregiver to other people? I have very few friends and 3 children of my own. My husband is not much help right now either he is working out of town and I dont see him for weeks on end. I need a support group, friends something to get my mind off all the details of this tragic event. Any ideas?

I'm going in for surgery on Monday to have my gallbladder removed, Up until this point in my life nothing has ever been wrong with me.. I've never broken a bone, Never had surgery, Basically this is my first time going to the hospital for anything other than to visit someone.. And i have such a huge fear of not waking up from the anesthesia. Is it a common thing to not wake up from anesthesia? It has me so freaked out .

hey I have had a pretty bad cramp in my lower abdominal for about an hour now...It seems to almost feel like one of those really bad gas cramps. any ladies had a breast reduction? I'm 19 and weigh 170 and I'm 5'3''.....but my breasts are a 38G. I'm thinking about getting a reduction to releave pain and tension in my back and shoulders but I'm nervouse and would like to hear some other ladies experience in this matter...is it really all that painful? do you notice the difference right away?
