A normal resting heart beat is between 60 and 100 beats per minute and regular. Diovan could slow your pulse a bit. but 59 is not a real problem for most people.

If you are worried, for heaven's sake call your doctor and ask about things like this!

You're heart rate is perfectly normal. A regular heart beat is anywhere from 50-90. You're blood pressure is kind of high but nothing to be worried about. Normal bp is under 140/90 or higher than 90/50.
Don't be paranoid.

Well the 140 over 90 is pretty high for blood pressure. As well as the heart rate does sound slightly different than a regular stat reading. If you are concerned about this then consulting your doctor would be the best option. Even just for the high blood pressure itself.

Your pulse rate is low, but OK as long as you aren't experiencing any symptoms caused by insufficient blood supply such as light-headedness, lack of coordination, or vision problems. Your BP is still too high, so there's a possibility that this medication isn't working for you, and there might be some other medication that works better. If you have been on the medication for a few weeks, and have taken your BP at several different times and it is consistently in this range, then its probably time for a visit to the doctor to see about a different treatment approach.

I would be concerned about the blood pressure, and maybe try to get on a blood pressure medication that works better for you. A heart rate of 59 is good though
