Im trying not to eat too much because I am getting Fat,Im not overweight but my stomach sticks out and Im close to overweight really really close. I eat when I am bored.

Instead of trying not to eat, which just makes the desire stronger, try eating healthy, filling foods. I like to 'graze' all day . It is very satisfying. Eat low calorie, high fiber foods and you wont fill guilty but ,at the same time, you will fill full. Try not to focus too much on weight and eating, as that only makes it worse. Add more exercise if you cannot cut out unwanted foods. Better than eliminating any foods from your diet, eat in moderation. Two bites, is what I do, first bite and last bite...all the rest taste the same and are not needed. Good luck. To add exercise without really trying, park a little farther away from your destination than you usually do, or walking up the last flight of stairs, or all the way down. Isometric exercises while watching TV work well also.

Make a list of things that you can do to distract yourself so you wont be bored. Some ideas may be: Have a bubble bath, paint your nails, go for a walk, go shopping, visit a friend, get out an exercise DVD and do a workout, walk the dog, do some gardening, read a book, if your into crafts do some craft work it keeps your hands busy, knitting, beading, painting etc. Hope this helps

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc

Well I would suggest finding something healty to snack on like carrots or celery. But if you're anything like me...i have an oral fixation (it's not pervy) but I tend to like to chew on things. So I tend to chew on straws or something like that. Or just find something to do. You should only eat when you're hungry :)
