The best way to feel fresh all the time and not just after periods is to wash regularly. I find that using Physoderm helps me with that. I started using the Physoderm by accident years ago when I didn't have any regular soap to wash down there with. I found it worked great at controlling the smell of the blood during the period.

As for tampons, the brand I would recommend is Ob because there is no cardboard applicator to worry about.

As for pads, if you find that you must stick with them try Always. They have a number of different sizes that might just work out right for you. It all depends on the kind of flow stream you have.

Another reason that douching is not good is because the vagina (which is on the inside) is self cleaning.

If you notice any kind of odors such as like that of a fish that needs to be evaluated by a dr because that could be an infection such as bacterial vaginosis starting.
