I am not overweight, but I have always wanted a flat stomach, and I have been working at it and so far I have abs on the top part of my stomach, but I can't seem to get rid of the pooch I have right under my belly button, and I have tried everything to get rid of it, but nothing has been helping. (I've been excercising/dieting since February) I was wondering if any of you had any advice; like how to eat better, what excercises will help, ect. Anything will be appreciated.

ahh the dreaded lower stomach bulge. This is a huge problem with a lot of women.
As many people before me said, instead of doing traditional crunches, do "leg crunches", as that works out your lower abs.

But other than that, it's really hard to target just one body part when it comes to losing weight. Just keep going at it.
Also talk to your doctor or a nutritionist, there are some natural herbs/vitamins that could help.

This is a tough one. The lower abs have the more difficult (brown) fat to burn. What I did (fellow track runner), was lie on my back and raise my legs to 90 degrees, and have a friend stand over me and shove them hard in random directions. Then I would stop the force of the shove before my legs and feet hit the ground and raise them back up.

This was the only method I could find to burn the lower stuff.... other than running more.

Good Luck!

I would look into different types of sit-ups or abdominal lifts. You can focus on different areas of your abs by moving in different ways.

lay on your back, lift both legs and make your upper body and legs perpendicular to each other (like and "L" shape). then do leg lifts, lifting your butt off the ground, while clenching your core (abs). do a lot of them, and do them correctly. it will help.

ok this is what i've heard .you can lay on the floor and instead of doing sit ups. you do leg lifts. you can bend the knees or just keep the legs straight..
