Hmm. Both are internal organs, and both are involved in removing wastes from the body. (CO2 in the case of lungs).

blood goes through them
they both work in conjuction with other organs
they both involve an intricate network of arteries and veins
they both secrete waste (lungs = CO2, kidneys = unneeded salts from blood and other minerals)

kidneys regulate blood pressure. blood pressure is related to fluid in your body. if the fluid is getting backed up for some reason it can build up in your lungs.
