If someone was given an initial diagnosis of a not too serious inflamatory disease, and then a few weeks later told it was in fact cancer. Only to be told a week after that, that it was in fact an inflamatory disease, but not as orginaly diagnosed.

Would this be considered to be negligence on the part of the NHS?

My Mother, who is mentally ill, is very very sick. My Dad left her for another woman (just happened to be one of her friends) three years ago and she has really gone off of the deep end. Since then, she's been in and out of institutions, hospitals, on various medications, group homes, and has recently undergone over 20 electroconvulsive therapy treatments. Nothing is working! She's in agony each and every day and has extreme obsessions and compulsions about cleanliness and feels that she "can't do anything right." Our telephone conversations are all about reassurance and her continual hand washings (washes up to 50x per day) and that's it....she just can't focus on anything else. She, too, has put the family through a lot as she's always talking about death, dying, how she "can't" anymore, etc. Is it wrong for me to wish for an angel to come down and get her while she sleeps....and just send her home. It's what she wants. She wants to be with her parents up in heaven.

My pubic hair started growing about 6 months back. Though there is no hair growth in my entire body (very smooth with out a sign of hair growing including my face......no mustache or beard!) But the pubic hair is getting thicker. I am thinking of removing. Which is the best method for boys? If I want to shave, sould I use cream or foam or only water? Which blade...single, double or triple. I am only 16...please guide me properly. Thanks

who has that feeling now?

On night one my left ankle swelled followed shortly by my foot & lower leg. The following morning the swelling had gone down minimally but my right ankle, foot & leg were now swollen too.
By the evening I was getting what I feels muscle pains in both legs with occassional stabbing pains in what felt like the bones & joints.
On day three, both my legs from the waist down started aching and the arms started aching too.
It is difficult to walk due to the cramping type pain and what seems to be muscle tighness in my calves.
I have occassional tingling feelings in my feet and legs and sometimes it feels like I have ants crawling on my legs.
On the third night I went to the ED of my local hospital where they took blood and did an ECG. The ECG was normal.
I have had some small pains in my chest but in no one spot.
The doc i saw believed the swelling is not fluid, I agree as when you press on the affected areas there is not dimple left behind.
The affected areas are also tender when pressed.

I like how Adderall makes me feel so I tried getting prescription at my doctor office. I told him I had ADD. He was in the middle of asking me a question and I blurted out "Meatloaf on funnel cakes mixed with sponge bob squarepants and a supernova".

He said that this behavior is more indicative of psychosis than ADD and basically told me I was pulling his chain. He then stopped the appointment. What can I do to sue him for malpractice and discrimination?

Okay, without training at all or hardly exercising, I did the 10k walk. I ran a little bit but I walked most of the time. Of course I can't move hardly any muscles in my legs but I was wondering what I can do to increase the healing process and all. And should I lose weight any from this or gain any muscle power? I stayed hydrated.

My daughter has her grandfather's nose. Lets just say it gives her character. She'd like a little less character...

Is 15-1/2 too young for a nose job? How long is the recovery period? Is it done under general anaesthesia? Did you have one done, and are you glad or not?
