my period has skipped a month....we had sex without a condom twice last month the rest we used a condom...i know our stupidity...but i am getting kinda scared...he told me that he doesnt think that he went inside of me but that doesnt mean anything...i dont wanna be pregnant just cause i am only 19 and i am not ready...please help

Three days ago I took a 150 mcg synthroid for hypothyroidisim and felt fine. Yesterday I took another one and suffered a fever of 103.1 - I took tylenol to drop the fever but today my throat is very sore (my thyroid is very sore) I have hasimoto's thyroiditis. Today I am very weak. What happened?

I recently found out that I am pregnant, and am overjoyed! I am roughly 7-8 weeks along I think, and that's where my problem comes in. I will be set up with insurance through a job of mine in about two weeks, but I need to see a doctor to do the initial exam and make sure things are ok, along with running all the needed tests. The problem is, I can't find a clinic or hospital that will do this and just let me pay cash. Everyone insists on signing up with their insurance, and won't work around that. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but my work insurance is paid 100% by my job and I don't want to pay a first months premium for only a few weeks of service. Does anyone know of a clinic/hospital in the Virginia/Maryland states that will do this? I don't care what it costs for the first visit, but I need to pay cash. Anyone who knows for a fact of a place who will do this 1st exam, please let me know. I want to make sure everything is ok, and waiting until my 2nd trimester worries me.

Every time I eat a meal my stomach starts to shake after about 30 minutes and continues to do so for a long period after. I am a mal3 18 years old and weigh 180 pounds. What could be the cause of the shaking....it is near my liver i think. the shaking doesn't hurt to bad, but i have no idea what it does.

what exactly are side effects? do they mean the side effects during taking the pill or even after taking it and you have stopped? because im only feeling the effects after i stopped it for like a week already. my head feels weird and im like dizzy pretty soon after i stopped it. its got a sorta worse during the week. what the hell is going on? i never felt like this before the pill. i got my period fine. so im sure im not pregnant. and how long will i feel this way if it's just side effects?

I am constantly writing lists in a notebook, reminders on post it notes, putting things into my Outlook calender, and jotting things down in my Day Runner. I spend more time making lists than getting anything done, and always forget something. I also have a hard time prioritizing things. I can barely remember to get groceries and what we need, (since I can never find my list) Does anyone have any suggestions as a system to try that might work better for me? I work full time, show horses ( we practice daily) , have a small child (who is in several sports), take care of an elderly parent, and run an EBay business along with all of other normal every day things, like shopping, cleaning and laundry. My life is now running me in circles and I stay stressed since I am sure I am forgetting something.

Hello, I am 27 years old. I am 5'3, and my weight is about 245. I try to work out at the gym three times a week. I do thirty minutes of weights. then I do two sets of treadmill work for twenty mintes as well. I do a slow jogg, fast walk and try to do that for the full twenty minutes. then I do a fast walk for twenty minutes. this time I have the treadmill set like I am walking up a hill. I try to eat four to five small meals a day, or I will drink a slimfast instead of eating one of the small meals. I try to drink water a lot of water as well. I can feel a change. My breathing is better, but I dont feel a change in my weight. what am I doing wrong? am I doing too much?

I've been smoking a pack a day for three years and believe it's time to quit. It's hard, but I can handle the psychological problems. I'm having trouble with the physical symptoms. If I go 12 hours with a cigarette, I start getting nauseous and it just keeps getting worse. Smoking relieves it, but only for a few hours. I want to get off nicotine ASAP, so I'd prefer not to use the patch or gum.

I've seen that there are a couple of prescription quit-smoking drugs, Chantix and Zyban. How effective are they? Will they help with the nausea?
