Someone who apoligizes to a woman after he's wronged her,but keeps repeating the same behaviors in a vicious cycle.

Well, he has enough knowledge, to know that he was wrong, and enough concience, to tell her....yes, he could very well be repeating the same things that was done to him, over and over again...some will tell him to get counciling, and that may help...but I always say, to seek the kingdom of God, and accept Jesus, and the forgiveness, and the healing will begin...God Bless

He doesn't necessarily have to be a victim of abuse or neglect to act like this. Many people get stuck in this cycles. He just needs to learn how to change his behavior. He obviously has some issues that he needs to deal with, but they do not necessarily have to be issues of abuse or neglect.

Not necessarily. Some people are very narcissistic and/or self-centered, and developing these traits may have had nothing to do with abuse or neglect. It may come from a sense of entitlement, or a need to control...neither of which are always due to a past of abuse or neglect.
