Frequently recurring hard stool/starining resulting in anal fissuer?
I have this problem for the last 2 years. I have been using Macrogol, (Movicol brand name). When ever I try to stop it, I get hard stool and I have to straing to pass the stoll. Resulting in an anal fissuer, which is really very very painfull. I don`t drink, I don`t eat much meat, once a week, I eat a lot vagetables and fruits. But I can`t get rid of hard stool. The interesting part is, when I got to toilet, the first bit of my stool is hard but the rest , one sitting, is soft and not so hard. Once I get a hard stool, that leaves me with pain in rectum and anal fissuer and then I can`t go to toilet for 1-2 days. Another thing is, after I eat something, mostly meals, my tommy bloats up, and when I say bloats up, I means a huge and significant differnce, but after couple of hours it goes back down.
Anyone help me what to do?

hard to explain this one, i went onto the pill femodine and it did not suit me, i only took it for a month, i came off it after taking 21 pills. then 28 days later i have had a tiny bleed and have started taking yasmin which i was on a couple of years ago. this pill suits me but does it matter if the bleed i had was not a proper period and i started the pill? does your body naturally adjust to the cycle of the pill?i have taken two yasmin pills and my 'period' has finished, i usually bleed for 4 days. can the pill do this? help!!

Hi,
My son is 8 years old and we have noticed a bulge in his chest around the nipples on the right hand side. The rib bones have come out. We noticed this around 2 years back and we consulted some doctors even but every body suggested that it's not a disesase. It's a by birth defect and nothing to worry about this.
Since last week we have noticed that the bulge has increased. even though my son never complains about any sort of pain or does he have any difficulty because of this.
My son also suffers from Asthamatic cough for which he normally uses inhalers to get cured.
We would appreciate if anybody could please share their thoughts, experiences or suggestions around this.
We are from putting up in New Delhi, India.

Im going to the dentists today.

If it is infected, can he take it out there and then or will I have to go on anti-biotics first for a few days before he can take it out.

Dont think I can live like this for 2 or 3 more days and I have no good painkillers left.....

I beleive in vigourous exercise including weights and cardio exercises. Having done a naturopathy course, i also beleive in weekly fasting. The naturopathic idea is that fasting gives rest to the body. The large amount of energy used in digesting food is used by the body to repair itself during the fasting period
The problem is that fasting even for a day leads to loss of muscle mass.I beleive the body uses glycogen from the muscles before it uses the fat deposits.
I am looking for some way of combining fasting once a week with vigorous work out on all other days but avoiding loss of muscle mass during the fasting period.
I would be thankful for any ideas.

I think i have a vaginal infection.. I don't know how to tell my mother.... i have light brown discharge, right after i finished my period, and some slight burning/itching. i have never had sex or anything so i dont know what it could be.

I have been applying hydrogen peroxide and neosporin and had used a large bandage until yesterday when I ran out of bandages. It is still red and hasn't scabbed over yet & shows sign of infection I believe - itching and burning is the main symptom.
Do I need to see a doctor or should I try applying some other kind of topical medicine?

Okay. I know this may come off "wrong", but I just want to know if its, normal i guess...

My mom committed suicide 3 weeks ago, and we are starting to gather up her things. I will be going there on wednesday by myself to work, and for some reason, I keep thinking about looking in the basement where she did it. (she used a gun)...I am not sure why I keep thinking about this, but for whatever reason, i almost want to look down there.

I know its morbid and weird, but why am i thinking this, and also, is this normal? Do you think it would help me accept it? Im so confused, hurt, and feeling a hundred things right now.

Please dont make any rude comments, i really cant handle that crap right now.

on top of that, i also did house cleaning - exerting more effort with my hands more than i would have done working out in the gym. I'm not too concerned about the muscle pain but the pain in the joints and the change in appearance (it looks arthritic) is freaking me out. will it go back to looking normal or have i totally damaged my hands?
