Go out and do what you've been wanting to do for ages. Have some fun.
Spend time with people you care about, and tell them how you feel. Maybe they can help. After all, family and friends know you best.
Take some time off work/school. Use that time to rest, just chill out for a bit!!!
I suggest you don't see a psychologist. That often makes things worse, asking someone to recall their problems.
Depression medicine can sometimes make people worse as well. It works for some people, doesn't for others.
If nothing seems to be working, then maybe you're just not depressed!!!!! Maybe it's just a period of feeling down. It'll pass. Like I said;
HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!!
(You could try socializing a little more!!!! Make some new friends and have a few nights out with them!)

Be yourself. Don't ever attempt to be something you are not, for example, if you are a loner and decide to become a "people person" all of a sudden, (or vice-versa) you'd surely get hurt. And, trust me, only those who have experienced depression can truly give you honest advice. Before you try anyone's advice, ask them if they really know what it feels like. People have good intentions, but way too many of them don't even believe depression is REAL. I tell them, "why would someone want to make themselves suffer like that on purpose?" I know you understand, and so do others who may be reading this and have experienced depression first-hand.
Things that have worked: Career change, to go after a lifelong dream; adopting and loving a pet who will love you back, no matter what, (and won't talk unnecessarily *grin*); putting distance between yourself and "toxic" people.

Avoid kava kava (liver damage). Practice for 20 mins daily, and whenever needed, the method at http://www.selfhelpmagazine.com Meditation room; try it out; mantra meditation; repeat: "easy". Work slowly up to daily vigorous exercise of 30 - 60 mins. Eat healthily, keep occupied & consider doing some work for a worthwhile cause or charity. Tai Chi & yoga can help, too.

Read "Feeling Good" i forget who its by...also, start making lists of things you are grateful for, add to that list everyday. Whenever you feel down, read it. You can also get a pet...people with pets suffer from depression less. Good luck!

Then you need to change doctors and be "very honest" during your sessions about what is going on in your life, past and present.
Best of luck.
