It's normal after your period to have a light brown discharge.

Burning and itching is not normal. If you have never had a yeast infection before you need to be evaluated by a doctor. Don't scratch yourself (I'm being serious) and it wont burn or itch as bad.

Talk to your momma.

I'm 35 years old and still a virgin. Being a virgin did not exempt me from having problems with vaginal infections.

You need to tell your mom that you need to talk to her privately (if other people are around) and then tell her about the burning and itching you have had and how long this has been going on.

As for the brown color to the discharge that could be old blood but this situation, especially because of the other symptoms needs to be evaluated by a dr.

Talk to your mum, that's what they are there for. The brown discharge could just be old blood it's perfectly normal. You could also be having a reaction to the pads or tampons you use or you could have an infection. Either way you need to talk to your mum and go to the doctor. Good luck

You simply tell her, "Mom, what could make my privates burn or itch?"

If you haven't had sex without her knowledge, as you present here, there's nothing to "hide" so just be honest...vaginal infections can happen from more things than sex.

It sounds like you may have a yeast infection. Your body is tellling you that something is not right. It may be from something as simple as sweating, or something more serious like diabetes. It would be in your best interest to tell your mother so you can make an appointment with the gynecologist before it gets any worse. Believe me, it can!

Just 'being a virgin' does not mean that you can't have a 'vaginal infection' ... and you MUST tell your mother that you think you may have one and tell her that you need to see a good 'ob/gyn' doctor who can do 'tests' to see what it is that you do 'have' ... and you may tell your Mom that you were 'told to trust your Mom to know that you do need help' and not to "tell you that you are 'bad" but to take you to see and ob/gyn doctor ASAP for your own 'good health' ... if your mom 'won't listen' and take you, then tell the 'school nurse' or if you don't have a nurse at school then you can go to any 'church' in this country and ask for 'help seeing a doctor' ... THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT and you 'need medical help' immediately, without 'punishment or doubt' ...

Honesty is the best Policy.if you are a virgin then you won't have a sexually tranmitted infection. Women still get irritations that are not due to sex. It's just about your bodys production of yeast etc.

Tell you mum, she loves you and will only want the best for you.
