Like most human I was wondering about immortality. How could a Man live forever? What is the meaning of being alive and being dead? A person dies when his brain stops getting Oxygen? The Blood takes oxygen to the Brain, if the heart stops, no blood supply to the brain? So hence no oxygen and the person dies when the brain dies.

But can it be possible than when a person is nearing death, That his brain/whole head be removed or separated and put into a Robot? The function of this Robot to supply all the essentials such as Oxygen, Hormones. So if the brain can be kept alive long after the body, organs, heart has failed then maybe humans can live for more than there unaltered natural lifespan. Maybe a Cyborg with a human brain and the rest of the body an artificial Robot. So my question to you would be: What does the brain need to keep it functioning forever? Can the brain be kept alive with artificial external machines? Has it been tried or researched? Thanks for your time.

I'm not fat. I'm a very healthy weight, almost under the recomened weight range for my height. But I always feel self-concious becuase a lot of my fat is right under my chin and it makes me look like I have a double chin. How can I get rid of the fat under my chin with out lossing a ton of weight (which I couldn't afford to lose because I'm already on the bottom end of my recomened weight range)? I don't want any kind of surgery, I want to lose it in a natual, health way.

i keep coughing a lot. not like having a cold. but like weezy coughs. and it feels like its hard to breathe like theres a hole in my throat or something.... it hurts and when i cough it hurts and feels like im gagging or something... help please?

Ok, so heres the story, Im thirteen years old, will be fourteen in October, but still no period. I have no cramps, nothing. I'm pretty skinny, but I eat normally, and I used to be pretty active until my sports ended in November. I only run for about 2:00 minutes or less in gym class. So what the heck is wrong! Im pretty much the only one without my period.

ok..she is an 18 year old. she is already small built..she just got her tonsils taken out and she lost 7lbs. once she could start eating again she just ate fruits and vegebales thinging if she ate thing different she was gonna get fat. so she went to get a check up they said she weighed 105...and they warned her that ppl who get that suergory tend to gain weight faster..so now shes freaking out and cutting down her fruits and vegies..and is doing way too much working out in a day..she looks like skin and bones already and i'm afraid its just gonna get worse..what should i do? i already told her that its unhealthy what she is doing but she wont listen!

Im 16. I was diagnosed with gastritis back in February. I know what gastritis is and all, But I still feel sick. It stopped for a week and then it comes back. Ive missed so much school because of it (I think school is the main reason why im sick). My doctor first prescribed me tagamint. It work for a week or so but then it would come back. Then my doctor prescribed me Zantac. It made me feel alittle better but then started making me sicker that I was so I stopped taking it.
I started getting the symptoms again on tuesday. I feel like crap. I thought it was a virus but I dont have a temp and a virus wouldnt have lasted so long. I've losted 15 pounds within the last two months cause I dont feel like eating. My mom keeps asking if i want to go back to the doctor or hospital. But I dont wanna go back cause im tired of them doing xrays, blood work, and ultra sounds and just tell me oh its gastris.
Is there any methods that anyone can tell me that will help me get better?

in my teens (im 19 now) i suffered really bad cyst acne i also went to a dermotogests and went for the next 5 years. I was bulleyed for it alot at school, the acne has slowly died down, i still have it but just mild, much better then it ever was. anyways its left me with alot of scaring, mostly indentations in my facy mainly in the cheek area. when i was around 15-16 i got very deppressed and kinda let myself go and didnt really look aftermyself too well, i got kinda back on track after a year or so.

My main issues now are i have alot of trouble just talking to people who i dont know at all, or not very well, at the moment im studying my alevels my last year of it and i dont ever talk 2 anyone in the class as im too scared to, just when im out anywhere i try and keep to myself as much as i can and avid contact with people, i feel not good enought to mix with people, really hard to explain. I dont go out anywhere, just when i have to really, im kinda stuck in a rut.

I took a million tests and they al said i was depressed. I dont want to tell my mom becauses she has enough stress with the divorce. Life has been really bad and now i have a chance to fufill my dream of being in a band but i cant belt out a song like i use to! I love singing and i know how to do it because ithey all herd me belt out "Lithium" by Evanescence. I can sing. but if i dont turn off the shyness im going to be kicked out of the band. I'm starting to heal but today its all comming back. I need help. How can i be ok again? SHould i tell the band everything thats happened to me so they can understand? I'm really confused and right now im thinking about it too much and crying my brains out. Please someone tell em how to get rid of this. (im not suicideal. I love to be alive thank you very much)

I have these lines underneath my breasts which looks like it might be because of a bra. It's lines like the underwire of a bra. I've had these lines since I've had boobs and had to wear bras. What is it? And how do I get rid of it? I don't think anyone else notices but I do. And I don't like it. What can I do?

Went to the dr. because my sinuses were hurting me so bad and he gave me ceftin an antibiotic plus another pill for coughing, drying up,ect. and now, I hurt all over can't hardly move, but, feel better mentally, but, everyone that has seen me ask me if I'm dying, I guess I'm really pale or something...and it's not like me to stay in the bed, didn't even work yesterday or today, and that is really unusual. Why do I feel worst physically hurting, like my ribs especially, if I cough, but, I feel like my fever is breaking because I'm waking up sweating. Am I getting better, or am I allergic to this medicine, because it really makes me feel like I've taken a drug for the kicks of it, but, don't act like it, if that sounds right....should I keep taking it, even though now, I feel like I'm hurting really bad and can't move all over, and see if it kicks in or should I stop it till Monday, I just started yesterday, and my college kids keep asking if I'm dying, I guess I look so bad

for the past 4 months i been having on and off lower right side stomach pains. feels more like cramps. i feel the pain above it when i push in, but when i hold my hand there and push out i dont feel nothing. i went to the gastro and my physican. i was sent for an ultrasound which showed no appendicits and nothing wrong with my liver or gallbladder. i did this test back in dec. My gastro doctor thinks the lower right side pain could be from IBS. can someone please help me with good advice, bc im scared that this is appendicitis. im not in terrible pain, no bending over, no fever, no throwing up. just cramps in the lower right side. any advice would be very helpful. thanks
