Losing fat takes hard work. You should just focus on eating better and exercise. Don't be afraid of carbs, they are the most important food source. Most experts recommend cutting off the carb intake at night, so about 6 o'clock after dinner, no more carbs, that way you are not storing fat when you go to sleep. Don't do fads or fancy diets that you won't be able to sustain, don't starve yourself becuase you will burn muscle and mass which will ultimately be detrimental. Focus on eating bettinr, cardio, weights, walkings, swimming, or whatever

if your set on going the low carb route, make sure you
1. dont cut the carbs too much, reduce but dont stop
2. eat foods rich in protein and low in fat
3. exercise with the goal of muscle building

the theory is that if you reduce you carb intake your body will start to burn fat as its main source of energy, and you will lose body fat. but the no carb diet can be extremly harmful so be careful, and make sure you get all of the essential vitamins and minerals

I would try weight training. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be... and weight training increases your metabolism while working out and afterwards for a while. Also, make sure to EAT. If you decrease your caloric intake too much, your body will set itself to 'starvation mode' and will slow down your metabolism an incredible amount. Just be sensible and be patient..

Good luck!
