Ok, so heres the story, Im thirteen years old, will be fourteen in October, but still no period. I have no cramps, nothing. I'm pretty skinny, but I eat normally, and I used to be pretty active until my sports ended in November. I only run for about 2:00 minutes or less in gym class. So what the heck is wrong! Im pretty much the only one without my period.

You will get your period when you get it. End of story. Some girls get it when they're 9 or 10, others hold off till they're 16 or 17. Only Mother Nature will know exactly when you're going to have it.

Frankly, don't go rushing things. After having it for more years than I've not, I look back and wish for things to be different! And heaven forbid I should skip...I go into a panic about pregnancy!!!!

Live life to the fullest; maturity will catch up all too quickly.

ok kiddo - in case you're actually not the right age to understand what a era is - you may no longer be HAVING intercourse! i'm guessing neither of you have been examined for STDs the two considering the fact which you have time-commemorated this adult males 3 entire weeks and are already having intercourse with him. intercourse is super for a jiffy... STD's final a life-time. if you're going to have intercourse, BE secure and instruct your self first! to respond to your question, a 'era' is while the interior layer of your uterus (the place the infant grows interior you) is shed. this accretion is created from blood and different comfortable tissues so which you will bleed from 'down there' for everywhere from 3-7 days. it particularly is what maxi-pads and tampons are for. maximum women persons have their classes each and every 28 days. in case you're better than 10 years previous, are having intercourse, have began to strengthen breasts (boobs) and have not had your era yet, you may to verify a doctor and get a being pregnant attempt (alongside with STD attempt)

Well, it's possible AND common for menstruation to hold off until about 16. If you're REALLY worried about it though, see a gynocologist. It is possible that you have a hormone or ovarian problem. If it is hormones, but NOT LIFE-THREATENING, don't get hormone pills or injections... you DON'T want your period until as late as possible... TRUST me. Not fun at all.

If you are that woried about it, talk to your mum. She'll know whe you get your period when she tell you when she got hers. And if you are still worried, consult a doctor or visit the hospital.

I would not rush in having a period. Your body will know when it is time to start one. Be thankful that you do not have one because once you get them you will wish you didn't have one.

don't worry. if you turn 16 and you haven't had your period yet then you should probably go to the doctor. and the fact that you are pretty skinny explains it

Be glad you don't have it yet... and don't worry. It's perfectly fine. One of my friends is seventeen and still doesn't have hers, but at your age, there's no reason to worry at all.
