my one year old has got rash from neck to feet, little red raised spots, with slight fever and off food. doc says viral infection, and not contiguous, but now two year old daughter has same thing.

I'm 40 and have very healthy teeth and gums. My (new) dentist is telling me I need a treatment called "perio scale & root pin." I go in every six months for cleanings, and have never before been told I need this treatment. From what I've read, it sounds fairly painful and there seems to be a high likelihood of infection as a result of it.

Is this legitimate, or is this guy just a scam artist?

Can anybody explain to me how green tea actually helps burn fat, is it true? I also asked a previous question about how grapefruit and lime could help burn fat, not because I think they're magic fruit! but because of the acids in them, does anybody know anything about it?

My sister just passed away on Tuesday, she had cervical cancer and found out in November and doctors said it was too advanced. She was only 45 years old and she went to the gyn every year for her pap smear. So where did they go wrong or how come it wasn't detected? She was very health consious.
Please help me understand, I say this is not fair!!!!

I got stung a FEW days ago! It left the stinger in but it pulled out easily. It stung pretty bad and left a four leave clover sized white mark with red around it. Then it turned into a little bump which I scratched in my sleep last night. Now my whole wrist is swollen flaming red with red itchy bumps and tingly up the arm. What is this and what will make it go away?

I was abused as a child. Now as an adult I find myself with not self esteem, no self confidence and confused in relationtionships. I don't know how to tell if my current husband is abusive or am I just feeling sorry for myself. I have been to counseling several times to some very good counselors. The problem is, I always end up back where I am right now. Depressed, confused, and wondering.

Well, when I go outside to the cold, I feel fine.
But then suddenly I go into a very warm place and my nose turns very red and then my whole face gets these weird pink things that look like big mosquito bites around my forehead, cheecks, pretty much my whole face. After a while, it goes away, but then it comes back again. What is this? Could it be rosacea?

Oh and, my mom can't afford to take me to the doctor, 'cause we don't have insurance... but I'd like to know what's going on...

Please help me, thanks.

i am gong thru pre menopause.I had bad hotflashes and night sweats. i stated taking all natural supplements for menpause and the problems went away, this has been over a yr,
recently i have has bad itching all over but it strarted out on my breasts and was only periodically.
Now it is constant and all over -my friend suggested that maybe it is due to menopause- as i have no one to ask that has went thru menopause i am wondering if this is possible and if anyone has had this problem how did you find releif? thank you so much

for 6 days now i been having this pain on my upper back if i put my head in a certain angle or if i do the scapular squeezes which is shoulder blaze squeeze it hurts a lot to do that and the pain is located around my right upper back and it hurts a lot. it isn't from sleeping wrong or having a big pillow or working out. it just came on suddenly and i dont know why and it hurts. could it be lung cancer if it hurts in my upper back or could it be something with spine cord?? please help it hurts a lot.
