There are a lot of factors that contribute to the length of time it takes to lose pregnancy weight: age, metabolism, diet, amount of exercise, how much weight was gained, whether or not you're breast-feeding, etc. I have a 3 year-old son, and I still haven't lost all the weight I gained with him. My doctor told me not to focus so much on the numbers on the scale as with making sure I'm eating right and exercising.
