Hello,
Hyperhidrosis, also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea means excessive sweating; sweating too much
The most active regions of perspiration include the hands, feet, armpits and the groin area because of a relatively high concentration of sweat glands in those areas.
There are two types of hyperhidrosis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis refers to overactive sweat glands that affect certain areas of the body, such as the hands, feet, face or underarms.
This form of hyperhidrosis can't be prevented and isn't contagious because it was probably inherited (although the condition may skip a generation). Secondary generalized hyperhidrosis is total body
sweating prompted by secondary medical conditions or medications.

etcetera. I know of an exceptional under arm anti persperant. ( Do not use the ones that say aluminum in the ingredients. It is extremely possible thye might ruin your brain and cause althimers disease. )
I know of a safe one but will take me a while to find it out and when I do your question will be closed so I wontl be able to respond but if you email me and wait patiently I wil find the product and tell you about it and also do some reading on this.

Unfortunately your body chooses the areas that it uses to sweat, this is to cool your body down. There is nothing you can do to stop it, apart from surgery, which is a last resort. In the summer wear tops without arms, won't stop you sweating but you can carry wipes with you that will keep you fresh. The same goes in the winter, wear loose fitting tops, use your wipes and carry a natural smelling deodorant or body spray. Not just men who suffer from this. It is horrid but you have to learn to live with it best you can. Sometimes it can lessen naturally, lets hope once your hormones have stopped jumping around it will. Best of luck.

At 18 years, this is most likely to be physiological, rather than pathological, though I suppose it might be reasonable to have a few routine blood tests including thyroid function. Odd are they will however be normal.
Only suggestion I have is to try a ' medical ' antiperspirant. There are 2 of these Anhydrol/Driclor, which are roll-ons and Zeasorb, which is a powder, although available on prescription, both can also be bought over the counter in a pharmacy.

Go to your doctor tell him/her that you have over active glands under your arms ( probably a couple of other areas as well like the small of the back and feet) he will be able to give a small injection of botox . This will last about two years .By then your hormones will have settled down and your confidence will be be good and the problem will be gone

Check out Certain-Dri. My shirts used to be soaked near my armpits even when I wasn't doing anything. Now while using Certain-Dri I can be working out and very little if any sweat shows. Just check it out for your sake!

A prescription from your doctor/dermatologist for "Drysol" will help you. Its stronger than Certain-Dri. Use it about twice a week. If you live in the UK, its called "Driclor".
You may have hyperhydrosis, so you may want to look into this website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperhidrosis . It has some suggestions as well.
Also, waxing may help...less hair, then less sweat as well.

Try unperfumed Mitchum Roll-on anti perspirant. Works a treat and lasts two days if you need it to. Try to be a bit more confident too as nervousness causes perspiration.
