I am a 29 year old woman, weighing 129 lbs, 5'5'', I smoke and drink caffiene....

For two days in a row, my blood pressure was taken. Everyone seemed concerned with how low it was. I, on the other hand, rationalized that since my blood pressure was the same as the 12 year old boy that they had tested, I must be healthy because it was equal to a young person.

Stupid I know, but one never hears much about low blood pressure, only high blood pressure.

Anyway, here are my readings:

(Both readings were taken at the same time of the night, around 7:30)

On the first night, it was 110 over 70.
On the second night, it was 100 over 70.

Please tell me if I have cause for concern. Thanks for your time.

My docter prescribed me Yasmin. What has your experience been taking Yasmin? Is there any birth control that can help with weight loss? Or at least thats good with not making you gain weight? I am currently in the process of trying to lose weight...I have a LOT to lose & the last thing Im trying to do is gain...but I am required to take birth control pills b/c of my taking Accutane, the acne medication. So any suggestions, experience on Yasmin (positive or negative, whatever)...????

My eye problem just got aggravated and am looking to go to a doctor (an eye specialist and not a GP).
How to find one who can give me an appointment today itself?
I'll highly appreciate any guidance.
By the way I'm new to London.

My grandad has had Parkinson's for a number of years now but is getting progressively worse. He is now at the stage where he needs to take tablets 4x a day at different times. He often gets confused and forgets to take them. He has been told he will need someone in 4x a day for 15 mins to make sure he takes his tablets. This service is costing him £12 for 15 mins. This seems very high and i was wondering if there are any other services that offer a cheaper rate or free service?

My 17 year old daughter, we live in Planto. Is committing future suicide, can you suggest any counceling, positive help? A little of what she does Failing Staying out late ( I know you will say I should keep her in, but short of a lock and key to leg, she is sneaky) Started smoking Having sex, I think judging by all the Male hispanics who call the house She dresses with lots of skin showing She hates her parents She has one more year in High School, at this rate she will be working a McDonalds for the rest of her life. I wish she could have a realality check; my life in 10 years, or a Dr. Phil. Have any of you turned around a south bound teen, this one is EXTREEMLY STRONG WILLED AND UNFLAPPABLE IN HER DIRECTION. Thank You, you may make a difference.

On 12/26 I was in a minor accident but was fine for 2 1/2 wks. Then I got a bad constant HA. Now I'm at 7 wks of constant migraine & neck/occipital nerve pain. I've tried countless meds all of which have failed to work. I've been seeing a chiropractor who said I have severe whiplash but has not been able to fix the headache. I have been seeing a neurologist & he said my neck muscles have stretched/strained as a result of the accident, which irritated and inflamed my Occipital Nerve. He gave me a Nerve Block, which failed to work. Now we are going to try physical therapy 2 x's/wk for four weeks.

Has anyone had anything similar to this before as a result of a car accident?

As far as the accident itself, it was of no fault of mine. I was the passenger of the vehicle, my husband was the driver. No one was injured, and I did not seek medical treatment. It was not until weeks later was I found to be injured. At this time I am no seeking a lawyer.

Any other Other advice is welcome.

I have combination skin my problem is which products to use (UK) I have three main problems- frequent breakouts, wrinkles appearing around my eyes and black rings under my eyes. I have used anti blemish stuff but no good for wrinkles and visa versa- any ideas!!??

BTW my diet and exercise is good- the spots are unrelated to this.

Hi, there.
First of all, I'd like to say I don't want any stupid answers-- I'm asking a serious question and I need serious answers. :)

Okay... now, I'm 19 years old and my boyfriend and I have decided that we want to have sex. Both of us are virgins, mind you, and I'm not on the pill or anything. So I was wondering what are the actual chances of the condom breaking and me becoming pregnant?
And if I DO happen to become pregnant, what should/could I do?

I have a loaf of brown, and a loaf of white...

white has less kcal, less fat per slice than brown bread... I can see how brown has more nutritients, but how can it be better for weight loss in this case?

I've eaten some pretty bad stuff over the last 20 years. Fried, fatty foods, guaranteed to clog my arteries.

My question, if I change my lifestyle now (I'm 28), will the collected junk in my arteries eventually go away? Does anyone have information on this?

I know this may not be the place to post this but thought you guys might know more about this kind of thing....

Since having a spinal cord injury 3 years ago which left me without the use of my right foot the hamstring muscle in my right leg has been playing me up.
Even though my consultant said the injury was permanent I have been regaining partial use of my foot once more through exercises.
But when I attempt the "step bridge" exercise my hamstring totally cramps up....it also happens at times while I'm sat at my computer but when I straighten my leg it goes away.
I can do squats & lunges without any problem to the muscle. I walk a lot & run some too plus cycle but don't have any problem then either....

Any suggestions please as I really want to get on with more exercises but this damned thing is holding me back slightly. D'you think it needs more stretching? it doesn't happen in my other leg, just the one that was injured.
Thanks guys for your help

I've been dieting for 1 month now. Watching what I eat and working out 5 times a week. I weighed myself this morning and I've gained 5 pounds. My cloths feel tighter and I don't feel any change. I'm getting discouraged because I wasnt to loose 20-25 pounds before my October wedding. What am I doing wrong? Am I gaining muscle? HELP!
