Yes, this is normal. Remember than menstrual fluid is a combination of blood, serous (watery) substances, and tissues that are shed from the uterus. It is not simply blood, like many people think. This means that the consistency can range from watery to clot-like. Hormones, lifestyle, and overall health play a role, too.

Yup. What's normal really differs from person to person. The flow and thickness depends on the person.
What wouldn't be normal is a sudden change from your normal flow. Say, if you get a really light, watery flow and it suddenly becomes heavy and thick. But unless you've had your period for years and have a consistent flow, a sudden change from the regular isn't something to be too worried about.

Yes that is absolutely normal, It's not expected to be thick like yoghurt. If you are really worried, visit your GP to put your mind at rest.

Probably- a period is the excertion of the uterus lining so once it gets rid of most of it it stands to reason that there would be a time where it is watery in texture....

Sounds normal to me, although we are all different, so what is normal to one woman is not to another!
If your period changes from your normal, then go to your GP.
If you are worried - go to your GP anyway!
Take care
