Isotonic solution is solution that has the same solute cocentration as the concentration in the cell. and thus there is no net movement of water molecules between cell and internal environment. That is why it isadvisable to drink isotonic drink after a strenous day to maintain equilibrium between cell and internal environment

Same concentration...iso means same..like isosceles for eg..
an isotonic solution is a solution where the components of the solution are in the same concentration...
