I have been overweight for most of my life and after a blood test I had done a few years ago that revealed my cholesterol was high and I was obese (I was 5 foot 9, 296 lbs), I decided to take control and lose the weight with diet and exercise. Well, gradually, I lost pound after pound, getting slimmer and slimmer and everything was good. The problem is, that for some reason, my body cannot STOP losing weight. I continue to exercise about 3 to 4 times a week and eat a normal 2,000 calories, sometimes even more, but I still continue to lose weight. I am now 177 lbs whereas my target weight is 190 lbs. I am trying hard to gain the weight back by eating a lot but it just doesn't work, my body just keeps getting slimmer to the point where my friends and family think I look too skinny for my height (which is currently 6 feet). I should be about 190-200 lbs based on my body structure according to my doctor. How do I stop this? I will soon be nothing but skin and bones! Help!
