You can wear whatever you want when you have your period. My daughter has been using tampons since her second period.

For a 13 yr old Pads are generally considered better. Tampons are usually not recommended. Also, Tampons can be associated with toxic shock syndrome. Some doctors recommend waiting until after you become sexually active to wear tampons. If you decide to wear tampons make sure you read the material inside and start with slenders.

I was older, around 17. I first started having my period at 12 but I just wasn't comfortable wearing tampons then. I think whatever is comfortable for the girl is best for her. It's all up to the individual. At 23, I prefer tampons but I still wear pads too.

I started wearing them at 15 (Got my period at 11) because of swim team. I would suggest pads since you are young, but there's no harm in wearing tampons if you want to. Ask an adult about it first, or read the instructions thoroughly, there can be risks with tampons like TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) I would stick with pads, I was scared to use them when I was your age. =0)

I was 15. I had like 7 periods. I wore a tampon because it was so hot and I just had to go swimming. After that, I fell in love with them because when you wear them, you don't have to sit in your own waste for 8 hours. But wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Try a tampon if you want, but be warned, they can hurt the first time you put them in.

i was about 14. i'd been having periods for about 2 yrs already. i can't tell you which is best. some would say tampons aren't good for young girls but i never had a problem. i think it's just a personal choice although tampons are much more comfortable and you can do just about anything while wearing them. make a choice that you're comfortable with.

Awww how lovable. solid pastime. shop your prize as long as you may woman, there are in basic terms 2 varieties of vehicles, new and used. Tampons are lots greater useful than pads. they gained't harm. it extremely is going to likely be like sticking you center finger . . . you already know. Loosing your virginity can not evaluate to that. Um . . What i'm attempting to declare is, a guy -any guy would be some sizes larger, a minimum of, so a tampons won't pop your cherry. solid success

I would recommend pads. Tampons can be difficult to remove. If your period is light they will be very difficult to get out. Also, know about TSS (toxic shock syndrom) and how to use tampons safely. I rarely use tampons because my flow varies, its all about person preference.

I had my period when I was 13 and used pads for 10 years (waited until i was sexually active). actually my mom told me that you would lose your hymen or virginity when you use tampons at that age. while virginity was important to me, I listened to my mom. but im not really sure if you could lose your virginity from tampon. plus at age 13 your still young, pads are probably your best option. p.s. remember the TSS risk. use proper absorbent (super, medium, lights) use super or medium on heavy days and so on.

My mom said you could get some type of shock syndrome if you use tampons plus it's on the boxes so I'd say you should wear pads .
