Besides products like Mederma, Neosporin, or Polysporin, is there another way to help reduce or prevent the appearance of scars? I had surgery done a few months ago that has left me with a two inch scar on my abdomen that I'd like to naturally minimize. I've heard from some doctor friends that there might be an antioxident shake I can make at home to help reduce scars. Anyone know of any formula or have any alternative therapies?

Vitamin E oil is alI know of, and you don't drink it, you slather it on constantly.

There are some homeopathic medicines to help minimise scar tissue and I read somewhere that Olive oil is good for scars (check out before buying and applying it).

Massaging in Vit E can help. The massaging can help soften the scar.
