My brother is staying with me.. ( he's 21,not that it matters..lol) But anyhow.. he needs to get a job, and he has smoked weed. I can't wait a month or for him to get a job and move...even though I love him.. he IS my brother after all. Do you guys have advice about passing it? Something besides "tell him not to smoke" because that's obvious, and he's not anymore.. but he just failed a drug test for a job today.

My 12yr old son slipped and hurt his ankle. I took him to Urgent Care where they took xrays and told me it was fractured. They put a splint on it and told me to take him to his PCP for follow up and casting the next day when the swelling went down.

His PCP made us wait for ever, then proceded to tell us to go get an air cast because the receptionist didn't schedule enough time for him to do the cast. Then we had to come back a few days later for a check up. My husband is a personal trainer and has sports medicine training specifically for sports injuries. When I requested a photo copy of the radiology report, to show my husband, the doctor didn't want to give me one. He gave me a hard time and wanted to just "write it down" like anyone could ever read a doctors handwriting anyway. Finally, I threw a fit and he made me wait another 15min to sign a form to get the copy.

What's the big deal? I don't get why the hassle?

But tonite, i'm getting intollerable pain every 10 mins. Literally. I'm been using the mouthwash and i took ibuprofen but it's had no affect at all. I mean it hasn't killed any pain or anything. Is that normal? The first time i took it, i was in heaven, second time, it was tollerable. Now i'm crying, i have to walk around and stuff just to feel better. this is crazy! help!!

i have some under my arms too....ive been tested for stds and it wasnt that, i also have had a flemmy throat for too long! (like 2 months!) something is also going on with my ear, i dont think its an ear ache cause it doesnt hurt so bad....but i cant hear as well out of it, and i need my decayed wisdom teeth out on the same side of my face! ya i know, problems!! i have a doctors appt on monday but i dont wanna wait that long.

It is all I seem to think about. When I wake up...what will I eat? When I get ready for bed...what should I eat? All day long, it just won't exit my mind. Then, I beat myself up about "over"eating, and promise myself I won't do it again, but can't seem to stop myself. It is getting out of control and I seriously think I need help, before I gain too much weight. I have gained 30 pounds this past year.

I was diagnosed a little over a year ago with Graves disease...hyperthyroidism. I put on about 200 lbs and lost about 100 of those 200 and then gained about 50 of it back after I had my thyroid removed in April of '06. I am currently taking synthroid to replace the hormone. My question is how long does it take to regulate the meds so Im not changing the dosage every 6 weeks and what else can I take to boost my metabolism and energy since the meds arent really helping in that situation. And forget the gym, my dr. says its still too risky for me to do any type of exercising...even walking. And my second question is since I cant get into see the dr. to have my meds refilled because she is never around and Im out of meds tomorrow what are the side effects of not taking the meds and how long do I have before my health seriously starts to worsen. Ive been feeling sick for the past 2 days and Im afraid its just going to get worse with the lack of meds. Thanks for your time...

When i have my glucose tolerence test dont they took my fasting blood sugar at 87 then gave me 100g glucose when i had my blood drawn only 1 hour after it was down to 63. My doctor is waiting for my insulin levels to come back. How does your sugar drop after drinking that much. The 2 and 3 hour levels were fine

New insurance company and am getting tested. I believe its a swab test and am just trying to make sure my use of adderall for studying will come up clean. I've only taken 3x 25mg and 2x 10mg pills about 8 days ago and my test is about 12 days from now.

Hello all. I am a female, and I have a red bump, about the size of the rubber eraser end of a pencil on my perineum, which is the area of skin between the anus and the vagina. I visited my neurosurgeon today and he said my last option is fusion, L4-L5,and L5-S1. I am 27 and cant afford to be out of work for too long. The only thing left is Cortisone shots that I have been getting, then surgery. What is the earliest I could return to a labor intensive job, but not push it?
