I feel reallllllllllllllllllly sorry for you. Toothaches SUCK! But to answer your question, put a cold compress on your cheek, and try to numb it. They'll be out soon enough. Good Luck :)

okay, first thing you can do to put an ice pack on that area thats hurting, secondly stop using those mouthwash coz this time it might trigger the pain, it some cases it happens so stop using it just for this night, try to calm down, and dont cry. sometimes it makes it more worse.. then lastly if you just take an ibuprofen not too long ago, i would suggest for you to take it every four to six hours this way it will subside the pain that your having. the tooth is probably impacted that why its giving you that much of a problem, one more thing before you go to your appointment tomorrow make sure your tummy is full so that you will be able to tolerate the procedure well. just relax and be calm though i know it hurts, i know how you feel and lastly just dont touch the area thats hurting often specially if your not sure that your hands are clean as this might your teeth's condition gets worse. till here hope you will sleep tight. take care and have a good night. and good luck with the procedure

I am going to sound like a naturalist fruitcake for a minute here (and more minutes elsewhere) I didn't ever believe in these natural meds until I had my wisdom teeth removed and the only thing that helped the swelling and pain was Arnica Montana. That's what it's called. They come in the form of tiny little pills that you dissolve under your tongue, six at a time, every fifteen minutes for the first hour, and then once an hour after that. They have no side effects besides relief, and do not have any reactions to meds. It relieves swelling, bruising, and pain. In just about any injury. I always keep some on me now. You can find it health stores anywhere, and like I said, you can take it with any other meds with no strange reactions. Good luck hon.

I've picked up some stuff at the grocery store for my husband when he broke a tooth and decided that there was no way to get it fixed before Monday. (Of course, I knew better, but it was his mouth).
If you can get to your local drugstore (or grocer, if you live in Alaska, like me) and ask the pharmacist (if possible, otherwise, anybody who works there) for a topical anesthetic to numb the pain in your gums, they'll point it out to you. You rub it on and around your gums --- its available over the counter, so you don't need a prescription, and it'll help alot, starting in about 3-10 minutes and will last anywhere from about 45 minutes to perhaps 3 hours.

I had the same problem. I was taking motrin to relieve the pain but it did not help at all. I went to the store and bought the tylonol 8hour relief. each pill is like 650 mg. I took two of those and in 15 minutes my pain was gone. Hope this helps. I feel your pain.
