Vitamins is how we stay alive. Our stomach and intestines breaks down food into vitamins and minerals. Vitamins ABSOLUTELY help the body when taken in capsule/tablet form especially with todays empty calories we take in.

I think I read the same thing as you, it was pretty biased and the data was fairly sketchy too. The good vitamin supplements from established companies are prove to work. I take another supplement with mine called cell activator so that the vitamin supplements I use dont go to waste at all and my body absorbs everything possible. It also ensures that the protein intake I use also gets the maximum benefits. Take a look at myhealthabcmall.com, Since I started using it I can really tell the difference in how i just feel so much healthier all over.

Vitamins work....especially vitamin C, vitamin E, and the B-vitamins....Its not a replacement for a decent meal though, so a sensible diet with vitamin supplement would help us stay healthier. Of course, enough sleep is very important. Prescription drugs are only for the sick people...there's no reason why they should promote it...some people are really making us crazy these days...lol...!!!

I suspect I read the same article today. To my mind, there were a lot of flaws in the report. When you look at so many different studies and try to lump them all together, it makes it impossible to factor out influences on the study.

For instance, this article even said there was a slight increase in deaths among those taking antioxidants. But it admits they don't know the cause of deaths of this group. Well maybe the group was taking antioxidants because they were high risk to begin with! We just don't know, so to me such questions invalidate the study.

its quite true, they only help if you have a specific shortage. most of the vitamin you take comes out in your urine, and the oil based vits like e , d, a, are stored inside your organs and can actually cause dammage. vitamins are a huge industry and they are no more natural for you than real medicine made for specific problems. im sort of a chemical miracle, still alive and breathing anyway.

vitamins do help, however your body will reject synthetic vitamins like centrum,one/day etc.. Vitamins should be natural whole food vitamins or your body will treat them as waste.
