I recently got my ears pierced at claire's (my first piercing) and it was fine on the first day, a few days ago. I don't know if my ear piercing is infected or not, or if it is just normal...my left lobe feels 'fatter' or 'thicker', i think it's swollen,and both of my lobes hurt when i touch my piercings. The left lobe hurts more, and sometimes it feels a bit itchy. Is this normal? or is it infected?
What are some specific symptoms of an infected ear piercing?
Should i go see a doctor? Or should i wait a bit longer and see what happens?

recently i have developed a bad sleeping pattern where I stay up until 2 or 4 am the sleep for about 4-6 hours and wake up (not by choice). It is wearing me down. When I try to go to sleep early, I just wake up around 11pm and cant sleep until 2-4 am. What can I do about this!

I live in a tropical climate at the coast.I have a desk job at work.Currently I am taking medication for epilepsy and am suffering from cough for which I am taking herbal powder mixed with honey.Even previously Imy wife was complaining about my falling asleep while starting to have sex and so she loses interest.Could the medication be affecting me and what can I do to alleviate it.sometimes I fall asleep while watching TV if it`s a boring programme.

By the way, does anyone know where the weight comes off from first? Like most of my weight is on my belly....when I take of my clothes....looking in the mirror really hurts!! i am 28 yrs old with 3 kids. i found out lst year i am manic and bipolar. i dnt drink and i take effexor and xanax and lithium. my mind is racing and i a not thinking right. i dont know what to do. i have heard that lithium is the last resort. why am i not gettng better. i cant drive, be alone, i dont clean like i used to. help me someone, anyone.

Alright I have many questions about HPV and I would really like for the answers to be right on target please.

17 Female/

1. Is the only way to get HPV through some form of sexual contact?
2. If not then if I was to shake hands with someone, who for some reason had it on there hand, then would I get it on my hand?
3. Does HPV only infect the 'genital area'?
4. If I have not had any sexual contact (i.e sex, oral, touching that region, kissing...) what so ever then should i not be worried about having HPV?
5. Even though I've never had sexul contact and get these bumps on my 'area' then should I be worried? (I actually think they may be ingrown hairs, but im not sure)

any extra information would be helpful.

i know this girl who is in juvenile hall...shes been in there a month know and was tested positive for chlamydia and i had sex with her before she went in several times...i got tested a month later for it and i came out negative.

I just found out from a cat scan that I've been having migraine headaches, did anyone know that you can tell that from a cat scan?

i know it doesn't really matter and it's the past....ok my boyfriend has been w/ 16 people (not bad for some guys...but thats quite a bit to me) and i've only been w/ 3 guys......we havent did it yet....but prolly will soon...but i just always think about how many girls he's been w/ before. Is that bad? I dont think it makes him a bad person or n e thing...i think he's great and i know we will be togather for a long time....but still...that is in my head.....what do u guys think about this?
