no, it doesnt survive long outside the body... only in sexually transmitted contacts ( intercoarse, oral.) also it can stay dormant for a few weeks before even giving you symptoms. youd know if ya had it... you have a burning sensation when you pee. and discharge and frequent urination. I learned that in class

probably not from wearing something, they always make sure your clothes are clean and they don't give you other people's used underwear. She might have gotten it from another girl if they were "fooling around"- or she came in contact with a guy at one point though that is doubtful too- they keep the girls and guys seperated all the time. My sister went in for 3 months (this is how i know this) and she had one roommate that had been in there for 5 months and they got "lonely" so they would "fool around". my sister didn't catch anything, but the other girl that your girl was with might have. i'd ask her, though she'll probably deny it. i'd just stay away from her after she's out... anyone who's in juvy anyways is not good news.

Not likely unless she is sharing someones underware right after they take it off and then she puts it on..the bacteria will die shortly and is almost always killed with hot water and at a facility like that the underware they make you wear are whitey titties so thye use alot of bleach in the wash and chlorine will kill the bacteria!! but it is possible for her to have had it and you not get it. It is much easier for girls to chatch STDs from men...sometimes men dont catch clamydia from the girl that had it but get tested agian and tell them you had a pos

No. It is contracted from sexual intercourse. You just got lucky. Wear a condom from now on......Who knows what you may "get into" the next time! Chlamydia is small potatoes compared to some of that nasty stuff out there!
