It should make you nervous because i\you should have a few things to consider about. Firstly, if he He had sex with more than 5 to 8 people, he might be infected with HIV or AIDS. It spreads when sex is done. When it has infected someone, it will be almost impossible to be cured. Another thing is that you must be able to trust this man. He may look good and handsome but he might have bad intentions.
Finally just to be sure why don't you try it out with condoms first. It will not be completely confirmed to work but you will have more chances of being on the safe side.

Any partner admitting to that many would make me nervous. I'm a guy, and I'd hesitate if a woman told me that. It would be a good idea to wait for quite a while to be sure he wants you and not just your body. I'm not saying he doesn't have real feelings for you, but he may have had real feelings for the others, too. He also has a history of losing interest fast so for how much breakups hurt, it pays to wait. Let him use his hand for a year; that won't kill him.

I have to agree with Donna L... 16 people is alot and i doubt he stayed with any of those girls very long... i don't think he's in it for the long run sweetie.. if you want to keep hanging out with him, then fine, but honestly i would just avoid doing the deed at all. If you insist on it, both of you should get tested, especially him if you really are planning in a long term relationship. better to be safe than sorry and he puts up a big yellow flag... proceed with caution. good luck, and best wishes! (:

well, i think its safe to be concerned about STD's...even if he had been with one person, these days its worth it just to get a free test, you too...share the results...give him an incentive- a ******** or something, make it fun...
sex is nice, 16 is not terrible, and it may mean he can really please you, but it will also be important to understand why he has been with so many, and how to not just be another number...
and make him wear a condom!

well, i guess hes pretty good at it ;o) seriously there is nothing wrong with casually bring up the conversation lettinghim know that you want to be sure that you both are safe and suggest getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases before making that big step. hw shouldnt be offended... especially if he really cares for you.

16 women? I take it he is only out to get sex from most of you and not a lasting realitionship. Think about that and the STD's he has by now.

I don't think it makes him a bad person but you should both get tested to be sure you are clean before you get together.
