Yes.. Usually this is because I have not had a restful sleep. Maybe I wasn't feeling well or there was something heavy on my mind. Sometimes it is something simple as being uncomfortable that interfered with a restful sleep. I can recall one night being cold and constantly dreaming that I got up and adjusted the thermostat. I was just as tired as if I had actually gotten up several times during the night I kept thinking that there was something wrong with the central heating unit. Once I was fully awake I realized that I had only dreamed about adjusting it. Sometimes i am aware that I have tossed and turned through the night. Whether you are aware of it or not, this too will leave you feeling sleepy the next day.

the problem maybe is that you have a lot of stressors in your life. a response to too much stress is fatigue. you may feel rested after sleeping an ample amount of time but once bombarded with different stressors throughout the day your feelings of being tired will come back. a good way of relieving fatigue would be meditation. when meditating be sure to put all your worries aside and just think about wanting to feel relaxed and refreshed.

Yes! However, now, I don't get a full night sleep. My problem is that I don't cycle properly... I never reach stage 4 which is the deep restorative sleep.
If your problem persists, go to the doctor and request a sleep study. That'll tell you what's going on. It's very enlightning if you truly have a medical problem.

Sometimes. A good rule of thumb on whether you're actually getting enough sleep is if your alarm doesn't go off, how late do you wake up? I like to put this to the test on weekends or my day off. If you goto bed at your normal time and you wake up at least a half hour off of your normal wakeup time then you should goto sleep earlier.

You may not be sleeping as soundly as you think. Check with your doctor, you may have sleep apnea.
