usually the first signs of pregnancy are the things u hear about, like sore nipples, nausea, vomiting, sincitivity to new smells like bacon in the morning, sometimes mood swings, it just depends on the body it is almost like getting ready to start ur period but a bit different, and it usually takes up to 6 weeks before a home test will show anything, but if u take one before hand and u dont get a result at all let the test sit overnight and dry then look at it the next day i found out i was pregnant with my last child when i was about 4 weeks along, but the test would never come out clear and i didnt want to tell my hubby untill i knew for sure, so i would hid the test untill he went to work the next day so in the morning as i was thowing it out i looked and it was positive, even if that doesnt work u can always go to the dr. and have blood work done that is simple and takes just a couple minutes to do and it is more accurate than a home test,

If its just 5 days since you have had sex its way too early to have any symptoms, especially since the fertilized egg doesnt implant till between 6 and 10 days although that can vary.
There has to be enough hcg built up in your system (pregnancy hormone) to have symptoms and to detect on a home pregnancy test..If your worried that your pregnant wait till your period is due and if it doesnt come, then go and buy a test.. Ps, it is possible to test a couple of days before your period is due and get an answer but not to early before your period.ps, it is possible to be pregnant and have no symptoms.

REALLY SORE BREASTS are the very first signs especially on the sides by the armpits. then certain smells may bother you now that you wernt used to before. I had aquired a metalic taste in my mouth witheach pregnancy along with al the above symptms. Nasousness wont kick in untill about the 4th week. good luck

It takes however long it takes you to get your butt to the store and buy a test, that's how long. The signs are whether it comes out pink or blue.

within a week later i got constipated, heartburn, and irritable. these were out of the ordinary for me so i knew something was up. then later throughout the pregnancy other symptoms such as nausea and charlie horses. its no picnic thats for sure!

Naussea (feeling like you want to throw up).
Enlarging breasts, with a "sensitive" feeling.
And of course, missing your period.
Go to a drug store and buy a pregnancy test kit.
Then you'll know with more certainty.
