Most Dentists still do the 2 part process (make a temporary while the Ingot is sent out to be made) and you have to return in 2 weeks to get the Crown installed. Some dentists now offer the new "in House" option where they can make the Crown the same day, virtually while you wait. has Anyone tried the new method and if so please provide details, any complications and how much did it cost you. Crowns run me about $700 ea out of pocket.

I know this question is silly but do you ever scratch your butt on the inside then it leaves a stain on your underwear and pants? I do wipe my butt and it still happens! I have a friend who said she lost 20 pounds in about 5 weeks simply taking laxatives every other day. Now I am pretty sure this is not too safe, but is it effective? Can you actually lose wight with laxatives?

I need a humidifier in my house because every morning when I wake the back of my throat is dry. I went online to get a price check and I found the 3 referenced humidifiers. I read the detail for each one and I couldn't find a difference between the 3, except in the price ($35-$40, so $$$ wouldn't be a factor in my decision). They all say they do the same things, and if that's the case than why is there a need for an Ultrasonic, Cool Mist and Warm Mist humidifier? The brand of humidifier is Vick's, and it is on cvs.com.

On a side note, I drink water, it might not be 8 glasses a day, but I come close. I know I drink enough water to not be dehydrated. This has only been happening recently and it only happens when I wake up.

I have been drinking pop for over 20 years. I switched to diet colas. However its time for me to quit for good. It such a big part of my life for so long. But I am pretty sure my body is rejecting the carbonation and caffine (I try to drink decaff but not always).

I need help and a serious plan. How do I kick the habit for good?

I was at an ice stadium for iceskating. I borrowed a pair of iceskating shoes. The room where the staff had stored the iceskating shoes was as cold as the ice stadium itself. Afterwards I found that there was a cut on the back of my foot. The shoes were really poor quality. Anyone could have got their blood onto the shoes too. From one of the sites it said that hiv can survive for months at 3 degrees. Is this true and if so is there a risk of getting hiv or any other bloodborne diseases?

Quite a while back Dr Phil mentioned during a show that he had been diagnosed with a nutrient deficiency that leads to delayed muscle recovery after exercise.
Does anyone recall this episode (and the nutrient he mentioned), or know the supplements I need (other than protein) to avoid three to four day recovery from moderate exercise?

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and they told me that I had a bladder infection. I've had one more than once before, but never have I had to go to the bathroom so much (I'm going as much as 3 times within 10 minutes), and I'm still having a lot of pain in my lower back. How long before the frequent urination and pain goes away, or could it be something else? This is my second day on antibiotics.

I'm going in on Monday for biopsies. My symptoms are beem upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. They originally thought that it was my gall bladder, but other tests have ruled that out. My doctor told me to prepare for this as a diagnosis. We had thought that it may be ulcers, but the doctor said that I would have had some instances of blood in my vomit (I know its gross). Should I be worried?

I have noticed en number of times my periods comes prior to the
expected day, If I take head bath.

My pragnancy is confirmed now after lot of treatment. At the eairly
stage of pragnancy, I am afraid to take head both.

My question is there any connection between head both and periods.
Can anybody clarify my doubt.

I am only my monthly cycle and I am having a problem. I use Tampons but lately I have had to wear a panty liner along with it, because I have noticed that after putting the tampon in about an hour or so later my panties start getting wet. Is this normal? Also, I am having to change tampons about once every 2 or 3 hours. Any ideas?

I quit smoking cold turkey in december (haven't had even ONE since). everything was fine -- now the past month or so i have been getting a THICK (sorry gross!) clear mucus stuck in my throat and i have to cough it out (it's like VERY thick phlegm) so thick sometimes I can barely get it to come out. what is this and does it have anything to do with smoking...no i don't have a cold, am not sick.

I just posted a few minutes ago, about my kitten passing away. Also, 2 days ago, a close friend of the family died at 34 of a sudden heart attack. I am having a REALLY hard time dealing with all of this. i can not eat. i threw up today, something i have not done in years. i can not stop crying, even when i try. is this an anxiety attack? or am i just having a hard time coping. i am only 20 years old. i feel as if i will go crazy sitting in this house alone dealing with everything.

What is is like after the gallbladder is removed?
Is it true that you can no longer eat spicy food?

I am going to get a gallbladder ultrasound to see if I might need surgery or not.
