Call your psychiatrist's office, let them know that the Welbutrin is not effective. They will either call something else in, or get you in for an appointment with the doctor.

Meds are so individual - that getting advice from anyone who also suffers from these is likely not the answer for you. Only you and your doctor can decide what's best for you.

Talk to your doctor about alternate medications. Sometimes it's hit and miss until you find one that works. Also, try and get some physical exercise. That's one of the best antidotes and requires no prescription. It may be hard to get started, but the more you do, the more you'll feel like doing because you'll start feeling better emotionally.

Everyone reacts differently to medication, so it is often necessary to try several different medications before finding one that is effective for you. I think Welbutrin is kind of unique - so it doesn't surprise me that it didn't work for you. Ask your doctor about Zoloft (which is very good and doesn't have many side-effects), then maybe Paxel.

My first question would be, how long have you tried it?? Have you given it a sufficient time period to get into your system? If the answer is no, then continue through the entire 30 day supply or however long it is. If the answer is yes, you need to call the dr. and tell him/her.

Stop being a baby and blaming "disorders" for your problems. Everyone has the ability to correct things within their own minds. You're just another baby suckling on the teet of the FDA.

i don't know about medication but i trully hope u feel better soon. ADD is nothig to worry about, depression though-u have to snap out of it. wake up everyday and think that u r alive, look yrself in the mirror and say: i love u, life is beautiful and u have to make the most of it.
i'm in a tough period myself, but i try to smile cause we only live once :)

I suffered from depression, so I know what your dealing with, but really there is no drug that you can take, it has to come from inside of you. You have to say this is your life, and you're tired of being sick and tired, and there is so much to be happy for, live your life it's too short to waste your time being miserable.

do not just rely on prescription medications to help you. you need to do everything that you can do which includes eating healthy and getting regular exercise. they both have a direct impact on the endocrine system. you also want to increase your intake of omega 3 fatty acids they will increase the effectiveness of the medications.

Switch medicines until you find the right one. Have you given it at least a month to start working? Effexor is a good one. Suggest that one to your doctor.
